I'm SO HAPPY! I don't know why it seems like they answer everyone else but me. I have emailed them several times! Maybe now they have firm plans and plan on making an announcement soon so they are answering people.

Yes I got excited because there were rumors going around that VEI had no further plans on releasing anymore seasons. So YES that made my day

It's very exciting!!! It just made my day too because Season 3 has one of my favorite episodes on it, The Big Apple (2-parter)! This is also surprising because VEI had said they were indecisive about releasing Season 3. Even though I have the complete series on DVD-r's, I will definitely buy it for the better quality and uncut episodes. Thanks for posting this Brieanna!! VEI seems to have slowed down to almost no new releases for tv-on-dvd. I thought we were supposed to see Kate & Allie: Season 5. And then there was the surprise that we could expect Gimme a Break: Season 3. Has anyone heard any more about these releases coming soon? :confused:

This is definitely a good sign. I'm hoping that they plan on a fall release date and not just planning on a fall announcement. I know it doesn't seem like much, but it brings hope that we'll finally see season 3 by the end of the year :D

I am "very" happy that prospects look good for the release of Season 3 on DVD! So far, I already have my favorite and my second favorite episodes on DVD. My all time favorite episode is in season 2 and it is "Katie Steals Julie's Jock." I found the site of Julie romping around in those designer boots to be "priceless"! My next favorite episode is from the first season and it is the "Emergency". There were a lot of things that I liked about this episode, but my favorite was getting to see the lovely Hazel Shermet as the busybody on the pay phone! This brings me to my third favorite episode which came out in the third season. The episode that I am referring to is "Samantha's Protest". In my opinion, another priceless moment of the show was Katie's fruitless efforts to flirt with the handsome boy from the protest! I thought it was a great form of poetic justice to see Samantha burst Katie's bubble at the end of the episode. When Samantha's went to the protest, she did so under the advice of Nell. The words that go with this advice were "sit down and stand up for your rights!" Having seen the outcome of the episode, I think that there should have been special words of advice directed at Katie. These words of this advice are "get your hormones in check and keep you mits to yourself"!

Wow! It must be REALLY difficult to get GAB! on dvd. They really have been hesitating about this. I won't believe it, at this point, until I have it in my hands. VEI doesn't seem to be releasing much at all these days. Must not be a substantial company.
