What I mean is aged really bad.

Going back to Season 1 and checking out Janet DAMN was she cute and what a decent body then fast forwading to Season 8 she looks likes she's in her 40s and tired especially with that shoulder length hair and the warddrobe looks so conservative church-going.

So who do you think did not age so gracefully on the show?

Well, they all looked seven years older -- which they were. I don't think anyone was "falling apart".

As he did from the very start, Larry looked a bit older than Jack or Janet. But Richard Kline was born five or six years before Ritter and DeWitt.

The clothes were indeed a lot more conservative in 82-84 than in 1979, but (Furley aside) the show was pretty accurate in tracking the changing fashions of the time.

But all in all, I don't think that any of the characters were aging "not gracefully".

BTW, Janet was never the church-going type. Remember "The Brunch"? :)

I have to disagree Janet might have aged only 7 years but its looks like she aged 15 or 20 and as far as church going I was only referring to her warddrobe especially in the last season she looks like she is dressed for church VERY conservative, lol.

I have to agree that Janet aged the most in the last year of the show. I don't know if it was the stress of doing the show or other issues. I think part of it was that she said in an interview once that "she encountered behavior in the professional arena that I found disappointing, and it didn't fit with the way that I'd been brought up. If you're a fair and honest person then you'll be treated fair and honestly. If you speak the truth, the truth will be spoken to you." I think that she found in working on "Three's Company that you aren't always treated fairly. I think that it made her unhappy.

Exactly my point especially in the last season she looks very stressed and tired.

I thought Janet looked better during the later years. I didn't find her attractive in the beginning.

I'm amongst the minority here I guess, but I thought Janet was reeeeeeally hot in the"Terri years".I don't know if it was Joyce herself or a skilled makeup department on the show, but I haven't seen such a terrific model for eyeliner as Ms.DeWitt.She's surely had loads of compliments on it over the years.

Well, I'll have to say it too: it was Janet's looks in season 6 and even more so season 7 that got me hooked on the show back in '82.

Joyce DeWitt--when she let her hair grow out in the later seasons--she really got HOT!
The early perm years, not so much

I thought this was the best Janet when she cut her hair short and wore those tight jeans (i hated the curly hair look).

I thought she was beautiful with the curls and not so with short hair. To me, In those first two seasons, she didn't look good at all.

I agree, she looked older to me in 1977 than she did in 1984. In later years, she was outgoing, more open, and in your face. I am glad they changed her look because I could not get with how she dressed in the beginnging. She dressed like she was selling girl scout cookies in the beginning.

I must be the only one who liked the first-season bowling-ball hairdo.
