FredScuttle 03-06-2008, 11:03 AM Still airing on WCPX-38 in Chicago and on 305 on DirecTV. Must be just your local channel not showing it. It's on the schedule thru at least March 19th (which is as far ahead as the online guide I use goes)
Zoneboy 03-06-2008, 11:33 AM Who wants to watch Ironside?????? grrrrrrrrr:mad:
I'd like to see the episode that Rod Serling starred in but that's all.

I'm sure that will work-lol
karlab 03-06-2008, 06:22 PM Well, I found out the reason I am have to suffer through "Ironside" and "Perry Mason" and it has nothing to do with Ion Television. It turns out my city has DROPPED Ion TV and replaced it with the Retro Network. No more Alice for me. (Do you think I need to apologize to Ion for the nasty e-mail I wrote them yesterday? hahaha)

I agree ION is a joke! I am grateful that they are airing Alice, but after they are done shredding it, it is a shell of its former self.

I'm sorry your city dropped ION, but I'd really like to have the Retro Network. :) RTN, right? I did once see a commercial for it near us and since I now pay the cable bill in the family, I wouldn't mind having it! I'd love to replace it with something we don't watch! It would SO be nice if cable networks let you CHOOSE your channels instead of the dumb "package" deals! *sticks out tongue*

Me too. I wish I had Retro too.

That's why I watch Alice on AOL Videos, since ION totally butchers up and badly mishandles "Alice."
ION's gonna pick up a show that TV Land or another channel already has and make the quality look like it was shown at someone's VCR in a basement.
Or better yet, hopefully in the far-distant future Me-TV gets soem more WB shows and air "alice" one day.

That'd be nice! Although they'd probably still be edited, they wouldn't be an ION hatchet job ;) They wouldn't have flyover promos or shrunken credits either. I wish I could get their new "Me Too" channel, but it seems to be even lower power than Me-TV (which I can usually tune in if I spin my antenna)
BarneyFife 03-08-2008, 09:12 PM I'm from Nashville Tennessee and I don't believe i've ever heard the ION channel.

ION is formerly known as I, and before that, it was PAX. It's in most larger markets, I can't imagine there isn't one in Nashville, although doing some searching, depending on where you live in Nashville, you may not get it. There's a station in Cookeville TN, WNPX 28, which is ION. According to Wikipedia, it says there's a translator for channel 20 for western Nashville to receive it. Perhaps try channel 20. If you have DirecTV (satellite), it's on channel 305.

Well, sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. I imagine in this case, it probably is pretty accurate. I looked up some of my local channels and of the stuff I knew, it was all in there.
