View Full Version : Whish is the hottest sitcom right now in 2008? user123 03-05-2008, 10:22 PM Hi. I need some leads for this. What do you think qualifies for the hottest sitcom right now? Thank you. PlayOn 03-06-2008, 12:07 AM Hi. I need some leads for this. What do you think qualifies for the hottest sitcom right now? Thank you. I think it's 'Hannah Montana'. Because you have a young girl (Miley Cyrus) who is being called a role model and she doesn't look at you like your crazy. Our kids need a positive role model because it sure isn't coming from Lindsey or Britney. I, myself, watch 'HM' and I'm a 20 year old male. Plus, she's everywhere: on billboards, covers of magazines, posters. JulieSomoski 03-07-2008, 06:34 PM I think the "hottest" sitcom, not counting any cable or Disney-related sitcoms, would have to be The Office. It doesn't get the highest rating, but it gets the most buzz of any sitcom on TV. I mean, you don't exactly here people talking about Two and a Half Men, even though it's the highest rated. I think 2 that are close though would have to be new comers Big Bang Theory and Back to You. Both get a lot of buzz on the internet, and yes, I have actually heard people talking about both. Two and a Half Men and My Name is Earl would also be up there. Buffyboy323 03-08-2008, 12:32 AM I agree with those who said The Office. 30 Rock has also been pretty "hot" over the last year or so. An 80s Guy 03-08-2008, 12:54 AM The Office The Big Bang Theory Superbowl 03-08-2008, 10:47 AM The Big Bang Theory has a chance to be the next huge show. CBS moving it to the 8:00 anchor spot, and giving it an early renewal speaks volumes about what the network thinks about this show. It is really hot. EmoJoe 03-08-2008, 11:51 AM I agree with those who said The Office. 30 Rock has also been pretty "hot" over the last year or so. yeah that too. and Scrubs. JulieSomoski 03-09-2008, 04:27 PM yeah that too. and Scrubs. Scrubs has been really quiet lately, though. It doesn't get nearly as much attention as it did like 3 or 4 years ago. EmoJoe 03-10-2008, 08:16 PM Scrubs has been really quiet lately, though. It doesn't get nearly as much attention as it did like 3 or 4 years ago. the kids in my school are still buzzing like crazy over Scrubs. i dont care for it to be honest though. too quirky for my tastes i guess. gotsmart 03-11-2008, 03:31 PM Scrubs has been really quiet lately, though. It doesn't get nearly as much attention as it did like 3 or 4 years ago. I agree, Scrubs has been doing pretty poorly in the ratings the past few years compared to season 2 which averaged over 10 million viewers. Once The Office won the 2006 Emmy lots of buzz has been centered around the show. The main reasons being the will they/won't they Jim/Pam relationship and Steve Carell being in lots of movies. Once The Office no longer becomes 'buzz-worthy' my guess is that 30 Rock will be the next network sitcom to take over. thecroc 03-13-2008, 08:08 AM The Office, definitely |
