ok so this has probably been threaded before but I'll bring it up anyway since I grew up with the Simpsons and just recently started collecting the first couple of seasons on DVD. anyways, mine would def. have to be season 2, I love the trip to splash mountain, Homer's brother Herbert, the first treehouse of horror episode and one fish, two fish, blowfish, bluefish where Homer almost dies. Anways, state the best season of the Simpsons in your mind and explain your reasoning. Vote on the poll too.

Anyway my favorite is season 6. To me that was the ultimate season as far as storytelling and humor goes, and it seemed to reach the high point of the shows career.

Next would be season 3 for one excellent joke after another.
