Indianapolis or Los Angeles? In one episode, her aprents flew in from Indianapolis, but in another one it seemed like they had moved to L.A. from Indy.

Her hometown was Speedway, Indiana. The same place where Joyce spent most of her adolescent/teenage years. Her parents never moved to Santa Monica with their daughter.
