View Full Version : How is this not on DVD?
Chad Michael Murray 03-03-2008, 01:07 AM I know a lot of companies are hesitant to put some older shows out on DVD, but when I see some of the other stuff out on the market (Hazel?) I don't see why we can't get Patty out there! I mean, I love Hazel and all, but I can't imagine that Patty Duke wouldn't be more popular than that.
-siiiiiiigh- Well, we can all just keep our fingers crossed.

Schmoopie 07-14-2008, 07:51 AM This is a great show and it would be nice if I could watch them again. This was my favorite show on Nick at Nite back in the 80's. I'd never heard of it before then!

Lee G 07-14-2008, 10:45 AM I've been taping the uncut episodes from TV, I almost have the whole series now, need just a few more episodes.
I imagine official DVD's will eventually come out starting with season one, but when that will happen I don't know.

I hope so because I'd just love to have the show. Go Patty! (Although LHOP is keepin me busy lately)
Robert 13 07-22-2008, 02:09 PM This show needs to be released soon. I don't want a cheap bootleg copy. I want the official high-quality dvd set. Fox needs to recognize the show has a lot of fans who are waiting to buy this show on dvd. :)
catlover79 07-22-2008, 02:11 PM I wish this would come to DVD. I've never seen it myself but would love to - it looks like a lot of fun!!
Lee G 07-22-2008, 03:06 PM I'm taping the uncut episodes from TV, need just 5 more episodes to complete the series. I tape them on VHS SP, it will take 26 tapes for the whole series. I've transferred the episodes I have so far on to DVD's, the episodes look great and aside from a few with minor imperfections they are basically 10 out of 10 quality. If official DVD's do come out, I won't need em because this collection I have is more than adequate.

Would you consider trading when they are done? The ones on iOffer are not as good.

I'll post more info in a few weeks when I have the series complete.

Yes we are all very anxious and extremely supportive of your efforts and for staying up so many nights waiting for the 4AM Patty! Keep counting those episodes down!
Lee G 07-22-2008, 10:06 PM It's been a challenge staying up for the 4AM airings, but if everything goes according to schedule I should have to do it just two more times. This week, two of my favorite episodes are scheduled to air, Don't Bank On It and Three Little Kittens. So I'm eagerly awaiting those episodes.
Jude The Obscure 07-22-2008, 11:17 PM Lee G, you are MY HERO!!! :D
Lee G 07-23-2008, 06:12 PM So far, the season three tapings have gone off without a hitch, no problems with any of the episodes. Four episodes from season one have minor video imperfections, but nothing drastic to prevent enjoyment of the episodes. The season two episodes are all superb except for one episode I want to upgrade, that one is episode #57, Patty And The Newspaper Game. For this episode, I'm using my back up copy from Nick At Nite/TV Land. I hope to eventually upgrade this episode.
MickeyMac 07-23-2008, 07:00 PM Who is currently airing Patty Duke these days?
