At some point all celebs are over-rated.

is Roseanne really overrated in 2008? Outside of those who love her sitcom reruns or stand-up, she's generally not considered as "overrated" as she was back when she was married to Tom Arnold.

If Obama counts as a celebrity, then where's Paris Hilton?

Britney is the only one on that list I consider over-rated but not by her doing...all the media is the one to blame.

I agree. I just don't see the appeal in her. She's pretty talentless, she doesn't come off as too bright, I don't think she's anything special to look at...having successful product lines doesn't really illicet the attention and her acting sure doesn't either.

But whatever I guess. I don't think a whole lot of current celebs are too talented either.

I actually used to know someone who worships her, it was pretty scary when I was out with the person I was seeing at the time and he called him up and even on my end I could hear the screaming, when Paris was ordered back to jail. He was inconsolable that his idol was going back to jail. :lol:

I also heard that he was escorted out of the theater by guards when he lost his **** at House Of Wax and started cussing everyone out when the audience erupted in applause when the dagger went through her skull. Why didn't someone videotape that and put it on YouTube?

K-Fed, a.k.a. Kevin Federline - The only reason he's famous was because he mooched off Ms. Spears and having the media make him look like he's a saint as if he's the good parent! (Gilbert Gottfried: "What the F**k?!"). His music sucks big time and he can't really wrestle for squat! He's much worse than Britney Spears as a celeb and as a parent!

Lindsay Lohan - Another Famew***e I can't stand too much!

And I don't see how that Tailor-Made guy or whatever his name was that's dating her see in her!

I am curious, that's two people to list Roseanne. In 2008, what is so overrated about her? Yes, her sitcom still has a loyal following long after it ended, and she has fans who see her standup, but how is she overrated by the media today compared to say, 1990? She's about as "overrated" today as Sinead O'Connor.

i had never heard of miley cyrus, or knew who the hell she was, until i read she was country singer, billy ray cyrus's daughter. anyhow, as for kanye, i agree he is very talented but its his ego that gets in the way. ben stiller, the only film i liked of his was dodgeball, johnny depp is one of the few a-list celebs of whom i think is not bad. at least he donated money to some hospital in london, not so long ago. as for the rest, i am with you on britney, angelina, lohan etc

I think Johnny Depp is a good actor, but I don't see the sex appeal in his current days. I thought he was hotter in the '80's during Private Resort and 21 Jump Street.
