Has there been any show where a sitcom was a success AFTER the introduction of a little kid? Olivia, in my opinion, is the epitomy of the worst addition ever on a sitcom regarding little kids. Not to mention the way she was introduced has got to be the all time worst.

Gimme A Break comes to mind. I think it peaked in the 83-85 seasons (it went down after Dolph Sweet passed, and then especially after they went to NY) after Joey Lawrence was added

I think FOL did good with Andy. But it's extremely rare for a show to add a kid and it stays successful with the addition.

I actually liked the Joey character. He was a bit annoying at times, but he was funny. His character was an exception, IMO and for me at least, can't say others feel the same way.

I didn't like Olivia either. The show was still good though.

I don't hate her, but she sure wasn't needed, and she could be so annoying. The best (or at least most tolerable) moments with her are the ones, when she acted like a child her age.
