Not to mention the way she was introduced has got to be the all time worst. That's a good question, I have no idea-lol Dean Winchester 03-02-2008, 05:33 PM Has there been any show where a sitcom was a success AFTER the introduction of a little kid? Olivia, in my opinion, is the epitomy of the worst addition ever on a sitcom regarding little kids. I think it peaked in the 83-85 seasons (it went down after Dolph Sweet passed, and then especially after they went to NY) after Joey Lawrence was added friendsfan77 03-02-2008, 05:49 PM I think FOL did good with Andy. But it's extremely rare for a show to add a kid and it stays successful with the addition. Ireneparalegal 03-02-2008, 09:05 PM Gimme A Break comes to mind. I think it peaked in the 83-85 seasons (it went down after Dolph Sweet passed, and then especially after they went to NY) after Joey Lawrence was added I actually liked the Joey character. He was a bit annoying at times, but he was funny. His character was an exception, IMO and for me at least, can't say others feel the same way. Furienna 03-04-2008, 09:15 PM I didn't like Olivia either. The show was still good though. Ireneparalegal 03-04-2008, 09:42 PM I didn't like Olivia either. The show was still good though. We agree on something. :jig: I HATE OLIVIA! Here are the episodes that were in Season 6, not many good episodes that I liked: • 8901/601 "Denise: The Saga Continues" • 8902/602 "Surf's Up" • 8903/603 "I'm With The `In' Crowd" • 8904/605 "Denise Kendall: Navy Wife" • 8905/604 "Theo's Gift" • 8906/606 "Denise Kendall: Baby-Sitter" • 8907/607 "Shall We Dance?" • 8908/608 "The Day The Spores Landed" • 8909/610 "Cliff's Wet Adventure" Thanksgiving • 8910/609 "Grampy And Nu Nu" • 8911/611 "Cliff La Douce" • 8912/612 "Getting To Know You" • 8913/613 "Elvin Pays For Dinner" • 8914/526 "Cliff's Nightmare" • 8915/614 "Denise Kendall: Single's Counselor" • 8916/615 "The Birthday Party" • 8917/616 "Not Everybody Loves The Blues" • 8918/617 "Rudy's Walk On The Wild Side" • 8919/618 "Mr. Sandman" • 8920/619 "Isn't It Romantic?" • 8921/620 "Theo's Dirty Laundry" • 8922/621 "What's It All About?" • 8923/622 "Off To See The Wretched" • 8924/623 "The Moves" • 8925/624 "Live And Learn" • 8926/625 "The Storyteller" Furienna 03-04-2008, 09:44 PM I don't hate her, but she sure wasn't needed, and she could be so annoying. The best (or at least most tolerable) moments with her are the ones, when she acted like a child her age. TVFactFan 03-04-2008, 10:35 PM I was supposed to SKIP season 6 on DVD but atleast I didn't pay for it-lol |
