Hi all,
I'm a big Maude fan along with other Norman Lear shows. I also love theme songs and research them regularly. I attended Bea Arthur's one woman show in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio in 2001, and at the end of the show, they played an extended version of the Maude song. I included (in the title) part of what I thought I heard. I wanted to track one of the sound guys to see where they got the extended version, but it was to no avail. So, it does exist--somewhere?? I do know Sammy Davis Jr. sang it on an album in the mid 70's and the time of the song is listed as 2 minutes or so. It could've been him--I don't know. However, one day we'll track the full song down. It's bound to be great!!! Thanks, Joe O
