View Full Version : Another Stupid Denise Huxtable Moment
TVFactFan 03-01-2008, 02:04 PM When the Idiot drops out of college, Elvin and Sondra offered her a job at the Wildnerness store and she said she only wants to do a job that has something to do with Fashion or Record Producing. But then after she quits the Record Company Job she takes a job as a WAITRESS instead of going to work for Sondra and Elvin???????????????
Furienna 03-04-2008, 09:06 PM You know Denise! She couldn't stick to anything.
Ireneparalegal 03-04-2008, 09:16 PM Denise was a moron. She wanted what she wanted and nothing else. At the point when she needed a job, she should have worked for Sondra and that husband of hers. It wasn't like employers were knocking down the Huxable door begging for Denise to work for them.
Furienna 03-04-2008, 09:18 PM In the end, it was a good thing for her, that she could go to Africa. That gave her something to do and commit herself into. And strangely enough, she sticked to it too.
Ireneparalegal 03-04-2008, 09:23 PM Yeah, but she came back and wanted to be a teacher WITHOUT going to college. Another dumb moment in her life.
Furienna 03-04-2008, 09:27 PM Well, she had dropped out of Hillman, and she considered that time of her life a failure. So I understand that she didn't want to go back to college. It was rather stupid of her to think that she could become a teacher without a college education though.
Ireneparalegal 03-04-2008, 09:31 PM Denise wanted things easy without the hard work or the education. She felt she had already paid her dues in "the real world."
Furienna 03-04-2008, 09:37 PM Yeah, that's probably true.
TVFactFan 03-04-2008, 10:53 PM Yeah, but she came back and wanted to be a teacher WITHOUT going to college. Another dumb moment in her life.
She wanted to SING all the lesson plans to her students-LOL What a Dipsh*T

No, she wanted to RAP the lesson plans. ;)
No, she wanted to RAP the lesson plans. ;)
Also giving the poor students wrong information, 3x3 is 3, dooo dooo. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Furienna 05-14-2008, 12:30 PM 3 x 3 = 3? Was even Denise stupid enough to claim that was correct?
However, she had the wrong year for Columbus's discovery of America in one of her songs.
ThomasE 05-16-2008, 05:29 PM Denise's antics were always funny to me. I am laughing right now as we speak. During season five when Denise would enter a room and say hello Cliff would go "oh lord!" This cracked me up! I used to think that he did not like Denise. LOL. Bless her heart, she was up and down at times.

 I know what you mean Thomas. It was like Cliff could tell from the tone of her voice that she was going to either ask for money or some kind of help. His rolling eyes exuded the feeling I would feel abt her at times. I am glad Denise was imperfect. How dull things would have been if she was not such a ditz. However, I did not like how the character was made to be such a stellar student and a bright person overall to someone who was almost a polar opposite.
Furienna 05-16-2008, 05:45 PM Yeah, that was weird.

TRUE! That is soo true. As soon as she went to Hillman, she just went downhill.
Furienna 05-16-2008, 06:07 PM It was so funny... The girl said she didn't want to go Hillman, because it was place only for people, who didn't get in anywhere else. And then, when she goes to this "easy" school, she still flunks out! But then, she also wanted to go to college in North Dakota, just because no one else she knew was going there. So I guess Denise actually wasn't too smart pre-Hillman either.
ThomasE 05-16-2008, 06:09 PM That's funny. During the end of the Cosby Show, it was told that you needed a 3.7 GPA to get into Hillman.
Ireneparalegal 05-16-2008, 06:13 PM TRUE! That is soo true. As soon as she went to Hillman, she just went downhill.

That statement was the beginning of her becoming dumb! That North Dakota comment. I could not believe someone of Denise's caliber and brains would say she wanted to go to college simply because no one else she knew was going there. HUH????? WTF??? Are you serious? That is how you make major decisions in life? That was a red flag there people.
I also hated how Grandpa Huxtable seemed to be so damn pushy abt Hillman too. Let the girl decide where she wants to go.
