Everynow and then there some shows I like but I can't understand them:lol: but,I have a friend who is latino I'll ask her to translate over the phone and it is local. Also the spanish people seems like there talking very,very fast. we talk slower I think lol. I always wondered why,or is it b cause there talking in the same speed as we do or our hearing cacthes up a little later. U know what I mean.

I did watch it one time. I watched a Mexican soap because I was board and thought what the heck. I didn't understand a thing they said.

i think they speak about as fast as we do, it just seems fast because we don't know many of the words and it isn't slow enough for us to distinguish them.

I read somewhere that a significant # of telenovela viewers don't understand Spanish. Producers are aware of this and make the soaps easy to follow without the use of verbal language.

Sabado Gigante is popular among non-Spanish speakers as well. Weird.

I love watching telemundo. I started watching it in high school for my spanih classes and have been hooked ever since. I especially enjoy the talk shows.

The talk show LAURA is sad, entertaining and shocking.
