The Patriots are not interested in winning anymore? Dutabi84 02-29-2008, 10:56 PM They didn't want to caugh up the $10 mil per year that he wanted. That's a lot to invest, particularily when the Pats only have about $10 mil in free cap space. TVFactFan 02-29-2008, 11:55 PM They didn't want to caugh up the $10 mil per year that he wanted. Their defense wasn't bad anyway. Their problem is not having any offense aside from Westbrook. bandito 03-01-2008, 08:42 AM Why would the Pats let a player like Asante Samuel go to the EAGLES??? The Patriots are not interested in winning anymore?Samuel won't be the same player he was with the Pats. I was reading some message board that had alot of Pats fans on it. They say Samuel wasn't that great, he took alot of chances by going for the Int, and Harrison would often bail his a$$ out. Brian Damage 03-01-2008, 10:54 AM Good move for the Eagles, but what the birds really need is a play making wide receiver. TVFactFan 03-01-2008, 11:41 AM Good move for the Eagles, but what the birds really need is a play making wide receiver. I don't think there are many play maker receivers available Brian Damage 03-01-2008, 01:16 PM I don't think there are many play maker receivers available Randy Moss, Chad Johnson and Javon Walker are all available. Dutabi84 03-01-2008, 01:26 PM And Bernard Berrian, who had like 76 catches for nearly 1000 yards on throws from crappy Bears QBs. TVFactFan 03-01-2008, 01:26 PM Randy Moss, Chad Johnson and Javon Walker are all available. Cincy already already said they are keeping Chad Johnson. Moss is not going anywhere and there hasn't been any talk of the Eagles trying to get Javon Walker Brian Damage 03-01-2008, 01:30 PM Cincy already already said they are keeping Chad Johnson. Moss is not going anywhere and there hasn't been any talk of the Eagles trying to get Javon Walker Not true Solomon, Moss is nowhere near risigning with the Pats and Javon Walker was just released by the Broncos, so he'll be relatively cheap. Brian Damage 03-01-2008, 01:30 PM And Bernard Berrian, who had like 76 catches for nearly 1000 yards on throws from crappy Bears QBs. Good point, I totally forgot about him.
