What were the creepiest statements and lines ever uttered by either Robert Stack, a suspect, or family member?

I think a few lines that are really creepy would be:

"I didn't need to use the phone anyway" uttered by Angela Hammond's abductor seconds before he kidnapped her.

"Where you going, you ain't going nowhere" uttered (they slowed his voice down in the segment a bunch which made it sound even more creepy) as the attacker was chasing "Debby" through the woods. He ended up raping and shooting her in the face but thankfully she survived.

"G'night, ladies and gentlemen. Mwahahaha... mwahahahaha!" The little idiot teenage arsonist who taped his fire and recorded himself on it.

"She doesn't know what it is or where it comes from, only that I get it from the bathroom every morning. It is actually a ******** of my *****. It doesn't affect her physically. I have NEVER "molested" her in any other way." Excerpt of the letter from the Nyleen Kay Marshall's abductor.

You both beat me to it... The line from the Angela Hammond case popped into my mind instantly, the "Omar" line was next. The line from the "Omar" segment that scared the hell out of me was, "I said I'd do it! I SAID I'D DO IT!"

I think the creepiest or most chilling to me, though, was the one from the Kansas City arson case. After the trailer exploded and the firemen were feared injured, to hear "Pumper 30 and Pumper 41, ANSWER! [silence] Pumper 41, ANSWER!" was freaky (especially since it was the actual audio).

That may be the most chilling thing I've ever heard.

The Nyleen Kay Marshall thing with the ****** wasn't creepy, it was flippin' disgusting and I would have loved to kill the guy myself!

It is creepy from the fact that the abductor actually takes the time to write that he did not molest her in any way other than that. Either he is lying, unconsciously downgrading his abuse, or he has some twisted unknown fetish.

It made me think about Albert Fish's far more gruesome killing of Grace Budd in the mid-thirties. He wrote a letter to the little girl's parents to describe in detail how he had killed her, cutted her in small parts, cooked her, and consumed her. I will spare you the disturbing content of the whole letter (you can find it on Wikipedia anyway), but in conclusion he wrote the following "I did not f*** her, although I could had I wished. She did a VIRGIN (emphasis in the original letter)." Dude, you just strangled her and eated her like a roasted steak, why would you put the emphasis on the fact that you didn't molest her?

That's why it is creepy, because it is anti-climatic. It makes you think about what over sick "little" things the abductor could have done to that kid under the pretense that he wasn't molesting her.

Well that part of the letter wasn't read on UM. They showed the letter and then some of us were curious what else it said so we paused it and tried to read more. I was absolutely horrified when I saw that part!

I just re-watched the case. I had never tried to read the letter, but sadly that is exactly what it says.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk but I think that posting the contents of the Nyleen Kaye Marashall letter was unnecessary and in extremely poor taste. I dont know if there is an age limit on this forum, but I think younger people can and do come here, and do they really need to be subjected to this? Yeah, I know the letter was shown on TV, probably by some mistake that these graphic lines were inadvertantly televised. However, the fact is that this is not news to anyone who has been reading/posting to this forum for awhile, and if people want to freeze frame the letter and read it, that is fine. But to post it here without any sort of warning is just ridiculous.

No problem, I understand. I thought it was common knowledge enough to leave it mildly censored. I apologize if posters were offended, it wasn't my intent to create a fuss. :wave:
