according to a trader on here who was on the Sanford and Son board and stated he has 3 eps of the spinoff "GRADY" and I said you have 2 eps because 1 ep is the Pilot which is a Sanford and Son ep-lol

So I have the pilot of Checking In which is a Jeffersons Ep that set up the series but not a actual Checking In ep but ot according to that trader. I have CHECKING IN!!! Anyone want a FREE COPY???-lol

I read that second paragraph 5 times...it's confusing, but overall I got the idea that you DID NOT get Checking In.

Let me break it down. This guy named Tom on the Board thinks he has THREE eps of the spinoff Grady because of the PILOT ep which is a Sanford and Son ep that sets up the Show. The same way the Pilot of Checking In was a Jeffersons ep and set up the Show to air the Follow week. So that's why I said if he strongly feels he has THREE GRADY Eps, I must have Checking In-lol

Another Example is the Pilot of the Jeffersons being a All in the Family Episode but it just looked like the Jeffersons ep since George and Louise was in the Manhattan Apt,.

Somehow this thread feels like a rerun :D

Do you think Sony will be gracious to include all 4 episodes of CI as a bonus to a Jeffersons set?

Not like they have anything to lose--the episodes otherwise are just sitting in a vault. I always thought they would just pop those into The Jeffersons' syndicated rotation as "The Jeffersons presents..." and then the theme from Checking In would start LOL

Yeah it would be nice. Have another Fun Fact for you, Checking IN was a TOP 5 TV show during the summer of 1981. You know the summer season don't count-lol

Say what? where did you get that fact? I don't recall CBS rerunning Checking In. it was those 4 episodes and then out. CBS didn't even give the courtesy of putting CI post Jeffersons (or any other hit). They placed it in deathslot for sitcoms Wednesday along with another 4 episode sitcom, Park Place.
