I watched the episode where Stan marries Catherine, and Dorothy thinks she wants Stan back. I was wondering, was Catherine ever mentioned again? Did they split? I can't recall any episode where her name was even brought up again.

She was mentioned again at least once in Season 5 - in 'Have Yourself A Very Little Christmas'. If I remember correctly, Stan turned up at the church hall for the homeless Christmas meal saying that Catherine had thrown him out. By the following season, he was obviously unattached because he was free to pursue Dorothy again. I don't think it was ever explicitly said that Stan and Catherine divorced but it was implied - as with most things Golden Girls, it is clouded in mystery!

I guess their divorce was implied then. I recall Stan and Dorothy almost remarrying but I can't remember if it was before or after Catherine. :confused: Dorothy called off the wedding when he asked her to sign a prenup.
