One of the biggest frustrations I see with TC is that the producers/directors didn't take the time to look into a possible musical-styled epi.You know...one or more of the characters singing with an honest-to-goodness band/orchestra backing them.A real record album to have bought back then! Please correct me if I've overlooked anything I didn't think of! I guess it would have been more extra work than the producers wanted to put in,but........Do you guys think this would have been cool to see? I can't help but crack up at the thought of Jack,Janet,Furley,& Terri doing an entire show dialogue/arguing to something ala"Rapper's Delight"by the Sugarhill Gang, for starters. How about other areas? Is there really any recordings out there of Joyce,Suzanne or the rest out there to hear? Speak up if you know of any..........................

I'm not sure whether any of the cast except Kline and DeWitt had any musical training, so musical productions were probably inappropriate. Kline regretted that he was only given the chance to sing twice.
Mann's book says that Ritter, DeWitt, and Somers tried to sing the theme for the opening credits, but the results weren't good. :)

I think TC might be one of those rare shows that didn't do a "hey kids, let's put on a show for charity" episode!

True, but they did appear (less Suzanne Somers) on "All-Star Family Feud" -- and grossed $15,000+ for charity!
