View Full Version : First Look: Two Face From The Dark Knight Brian Damage 02-20-2008, 10:31 PM http://www.darkhorizons.com/news08/080220c.php Mikado 02-20-2008, 11:26 PM kinda blurry....I think I liked the version of two face from the old series better Buffyboy323 03-02-2008, 02:02 PM kinda blurry....I think I liked the version of two face from the old series better You would. ;) waichingliu81 03-02-2008, 02:14 PM at first, i thought it was an action figure  . the screen shot looks rather blurred anyway Mikado 03-02-2008, 07:50 PM You would. ;) I'm a purist, I prefer when they look like in the comics.....for instance, Batman should be wearing GREY, not black Buffyboy323 03-04-2008, 12:31 PM I'm a purist, I prefer when they look like in the comics.....for instance, Batman should be wearing GREY, not black You originally said you "liked the version of two-face from the old series better." That, in my (and many devoted fans') opinion, was nothing but a campy, ridiculous excuse for a Batman show. It did NOT stay true to the character of Batman. And Batman should be wearing black. The Christopher Nolan Batman movie franchise is based on the "Batman: Year One" comics, where the batsuit is indeed black. There's nothing that isn't "pure" about that. TJL 03-04-2008, 12:56 PM at first, i thought it was an action figure  . the screen shot looks rather blurred anyway It is an action figure. The story in the link above says the photo was taken at the recent International Toy Fair here in New York City, and it is a photo of the Harvey Dent figure from the upcoming Dark Knight toy collection. Someone probably snapped the pic with a cell phone, since there are no cameras and very little press allowed at this event. waichingliu81 03-04-2008, 03:47 PM It is an action figure. Well, i was talking about Two-face from the first series of movies (Batman Forever), Two-face never actually made it onto the TV show. And I was talking specifically about the make-up job which looked more like the comic book version , than this new one does........goes for the Joker too, for that matter. As far as the campy TV show goes, the make-up was much closer to the original comics than in any of the movie series.......for the record, I think "Batman the animated Series" (1980s/90s) was the best non comic adaptation of Batman of them all. Mikado 03-04-2008, 04:13 PM As far as the black batsuit goes, in my opinion, The Bob Kane/Jerry Finger batsuit is the only TRUE version. Thanks for clearing up your point. ;) And I agree about "The Animated Series." That is THE absolute best adaptation of Batman. The series stayed true to the character. And it was just a incredible show. One of my all time favorites. |
