Greetings, I am new to this board and I am excited that Love American Style has finally made it to DVD. I am desperatly looking for an swer to this question and running out of places to ask. There were 2 episodes from Volume 1 that had a song in the episode and I think the first episode is one of them. Can anybody help me find info on this? The song/artist is what I amlooking for, thanks

I'm with you on finding out who sang those songs but I can tell you that the song from the episode, "Love and the Single Couple" is called "To Make Love Grow", written by Charles Fox and Arnold Margolin (the same guys who wrote the LAS theme song). This is on the Capitol Records release of the show's music which some of it is heard on the DVD as well.

I did a check and found out the song in the very first episode is called, "Enjoy" and on Volume 2 in the story, "Love and the Uncoupled Couple", the song in that story is called "Stranger Speaks". The group who sings these songs sounds almost like The Association, Harpers Bizzarre or the Peppermint Trolley Company who also sang the Brady Bunch theme in the first season.

I hope I helped you out somehow.
