According to tvshowsondvd.com the series My Three Sons season 1, vol. 1 will be released in June. Of course, our own Bill Frawley played Uncle Bud the first few seasons, so this may be a nice addition to your Lucy collections!

Now if we could just get The Lucy Show out on official releases!

I just read that early this morning on tvshowsondvd.com. I'm glad it's finally coming to dvd, although I wish they would release the complete first season instead of breaking it up into volumes.

Yes, but the good thing is that it then makes it cheaper, they did that with The Untouchables.

Does the Untouchables set have the original pilot with Desi Arnaz introducing included, either as part of the set or as a bonus? I know the episode of The Lucy Show with Robart Stack is included on one of the sets, but I wasn't sure about the pilot from the Desilu Playhouse. I have a copy of traded from collector to collector .... it's probably a copy from a copy from a copy from a copy from a copy from a copy from a .... you know what I mean!

I'd rather pay the extra for the complete season. But it's better than nothing I guess.

Well, i just mean that we already spend a fortune on boxed set dvds, i would rather have one under forty dollars than these hundred dollar ones that keep showing up. When i see Nip Tuck at 100 bucks a season, i just started taping them off tv instead, that's just too expensive. You pay that and then at the end of the run they bring them out for 200 bucks for 5 seasons all together, it's annoying and frustrating. AND COSTLY TOO! I wouldn't know about The Untouchables season one part one as i only bought part two to get the Lucy show with Lucy and Robert Stack, i could not care less about the series, i only wanted a clear copy Lucy show, LOL!

Good to know. They made the right choice in casting him as Fred. It was tough seeing his health decline, but the old man had a good run for himself. A great career.

I watched it a while ago, but i think it was basically the same thing we already had if we taped it off tv when it aired, maybe a mite clearer though, these new copies always look so great.

It just kills me that some GREAT classic shows are never available yet so much garbage is released every week.
