starting tomorrow, BET is going to start airing Diff'rent Strokes from 9-10 am EST. So for those of you who don't have DS on DVD, it's a nice way to get your Garrett fix since Charlotte was in the first season, and about 1/3 of the second.

A great way to see the roots of Mrs G! She was almost a different character!! She was way more daffier on DS. But we do get to hear her talk about her ex, I think her sons and even Bev is given a mention IIRC. Plus we have the crossover episodes with FOL and Hello Larry to look forward to!

aww, i wish we had cable down here at school... i miss DS a lot, i have been watching my dvd's and tapes from when it was on the fandemonium marathon on tvland... but mrs. g was funny and cute in DS. However, that character wouldn't have fit very well with FOL, which is why i think they did a complete makeover on her when they went into the 2nd season of FOL... it just wasn't the character they needed, they needed the actress! Well enjoy your DS everyone! :)

Funny how much quirkier she is on DS
