;)
Well get at it Buddy! Inquiring minds want to know!! LOL
(doesn't everybody here know where you go to unwind?!?!) ;)
1. Forgive me, but I don't think I have ever known your first name. What is it? Also, how old are you?
2. If you could travel anywhere around the world, where would you go? Why do you choose that destination?
My first name is Tom. Click my facebook profile link and you'll see the full name. Currently I am 39 and fabulous!
I have never been to Ireland, so that's probably first on my list. I would love to see the home of my ancestors. And to get drunk there.
;)
What are your favorite brands of beer to drink? What is the worst drink you have ever had?
My beer of choice is Heinaken. I have been drinking that for a few years now. I also enjoy a Guinness from time to time. My local bars pour a great Guinness.
There are many drinks I despise. Most of them are shots. Hate vodka especially.
What kind of women do you find attractive?
I like someone who is bright, funny and upbeat, someone who doesn't take herself seriously. There's a girl right now who meets that criteria, but it's been slow going. I'm working on it though. :D
What kind of music do you like?
I used to be strictly a rock guy, but I listen to all kinds of music. I am going to pick up Gary Louris's new solo album. He's lead singer of the Jayhawks.
Do you enjoy dancing?
Not even at gunpoint.
How did you aquire the talent to make the beautiful items and jewelry you make? How did that come abt?
Oh thank you, you are too kind. Over a year ago i started making some stuff out of discarded metal found in the shop. I bought an engraver so I could sign my initials on my work, and I started playing around with that. I bought another rotary tool soon after that and started working on pendants and other small items.
If you had to be on one reality show (past or present shows), which would it be and why?
I am not a big reality show fan, but if I had a choice, I'd be on Mythbusters.
It's pretty close to a reality show.
;)
Mikado 02-19-2008, 09:50 PM Sorry folks, i didn't know I was up this week.
;)
Yup...you and me both! :woohoo:
What kind of art inspires you?
No particular artist comes to mind, but I do enjoy still photography. Lots of stuff I see online inspires my own work.
Do you tend to watch M*A*S*H for the political messages or for the comedy? (or both?)
The comedy, and the cast. One of the best ensembles in the history of TV.
If you could choose between the X-ray vision or the ability to fly, which would you choose?
Flying would kick ass! I would never have to take my shoes and belt off again at an airport!
What do you listen to when you feel insecure and alone?
I have a playlist on my itunes for the times when I'm alone. The contents are a secret.
;)
I know you and Hawkeye are pretty tight, do you think you can get me Trapper's phone number?
Wayne Rogers Trapper John or Pernell Roberts Trapper John?
;)
LuLu Rogers 02-19-2008, 10:02 PM I know you and Hawkeye are pretty tight, do you think you can get me Trapper's phone number?
Wayne Rogers Trapper John or Pernell Roberts Trapper John?
;)
Wayne Rogers Darlin ;)
How did ya find SO?
Several years ago I saw a local news story on some TV related websites and Sitcoms Online was mentioned. Later that day i signed up.
If you had a sitcom what would it be about?
Years ago I wrote a sitcom pilot about a bunch of young people who hang out in New Jersey, but those bastards from NBC came out with Friends about a year later. Now I would probably do a single camera loosly scripted show about a bunch of friends who hang out in a bar. Yeah, I know all about It's always Sunny In Philadelphia. My show would be funny though.
How many times have you seen each Star Wars movie?
I lost count a long time ago. I did watch Episode III one more time this weekend.
Thanks for the questions.
;)
Where do you like to go to unwind?
A bar. The places I hang are like my second home where I will always run into a friend or two.
Have you ever considered doing something dangerous?
For about five minutes in 2003 I considered learning how to skydive. I got over that.
Now the most dangerous thing I do is drinking milk that's a day past it's exparation date.
;)
You do jewelry, do you have interest in other similar art, such as pottery or woodworking
Not really. I do enjoy drawing from time to time, and taking pictures around town.
What made you interested in crafting jewelry in the first place?
I found that I liked engraving, and doing small pieces like pendants meant I could make things in my apartment rather than having to work on things only at my shop. Plus, i just thought it would be interesting to see what I could make that I liked to wear.
what are your basic tools for crafting your art?
I use a Dremel 400 XPR rotary tool for most of my projects. It has lots of great features and the selection of bits and attachments are amazing. It makes cutting and shaping things so much easier than with larger tools I have at the shop.
My little work table is littered with all kinds of tiny pliers, metal files, glues, jewelry parts and paint brushes. I don't keep my workplace very neat.
Mikado 02-19-2008, 10:51 PM Rotary tools are the best ;)

What do you like abt one of my fave shows SURVIVORMAN?
I like the host Les Stroud. He has a pretty good sense of humor. His positive outlook in the most bleakest of sittuations is also very admirable.
What myth do you want to see busted or not on MYTHBUSTERS?
Good question. Hmmm. You know that urban legend about a guy that buys a cactus that turns out to be a tarantula nest?
That would be cool!
As a fan of Star Trek, do you own any of the shows or films on DVD and/or video? Have you read any books on the series? Do you have William Shatner's autograph?
I would love to meet William Shatner! I would have no idea what I would say to him.
I don't have any Star Trek on DVD, but my roommate owns TOS on video. If I had money to burn, I would have al the Star Trek series on DVD.
I have collected a few Star Trek Items over the years; some action figures, pns and communicator badges, a few movie posters...
I have read a few Star Trek novels. Shanter has written a few good ones. I had a bunch of the technical manuals that were written about the show, and the Star Trek encyclopedia was a longtime favorite of mine. Nowadays when I want a Star Trek fix, I go to the Star Trek Wikipedia.
what do you regard as your best quality?
Probably my sense of humor.
what are your 3 goals in life that you want to achieve?
Financial security, no scratch that. Wealth.
Happiness. Yes despite the happy go lucky facade I have always maintained here at Sitcoms Online, I am not very pleased with myself. I am trying to change that.
Love. It has a lot to do with my happiness. I have never been in love, (I have been close) and my many attempts to be in love have left me with nothing but anger and heartache.
Damn, this is depressing.
what is the wierdiest sandwich filling you've had and have you continued eating it to this day?
I have always thought mayo is one of the the most disgusting things ever created by man, but dammit, my sammiches will always have it!
who would be your dream date and why her especially?
There is this one girl/woman who you long time Sitcoms Online members have read about over the years..truth be told, she was IMO my ultimate woman...

LuLu Rogers 02-22-2008, 11:42 AM Hi Tom! ;)
Why is Hawkeye your favorite M*A*S*H character?
If you met Alan Alda, what would you say to him about M*A*S*H?
What is your favorite Hawkeye quote?
What is your favorite Hawkeye moment?
Why is Hawkeye your favorite M*A*S*H character?
I have always admired his ability to question authority, to laugh in the face of great misery, and his penchant for the well places wisecrack.
If you met Alan Alda, what would you say to him about M*A*S*H?
Wow, I would probably be too stunned to say anything to him!
What is your favorite Hawkeye quote?
Over the years I have ammassed a lot of Hawkeye quotes. At one point I would change the Hawkeye quote in my signature once a week without repeating.
I know this isn't a very politically correst one, but one of my favorites is"Don't talk to the driver while he's drinking."
What is your favorite Hawkeye moment?
This one line that Hawkeye says in the "Big Mac" episode to me defines what a wiseass Hawkeye could be, and to this day whenever I see it, it still cracks me up.
The officers are in the mess tent getting breifed on Macarthur's visit. Frank ever the brown-noser, informs everyone that Margaret's father served under Gen. Macarthur in WW1.
Without missing a beat, Hawkeye turned to Trapper and says "Her Father was a horse, did you know that?"
LuLu Rogers 02-22-2008, 12:30 PM  That's a great moment in "Big Mac!" I love it when Hawkeye says, "My belly button has been puckering and un-puckering all day."
