what im wondering "did they package 2 different versions of season 3?"
reason i ask is because in the review, they claim that their season 3 set came in 2 bulky old school style dvd cases. strangely enough my season 3 set arrived in 3 slim style dvd cases. go figure! disc 1 & disc 3 artwork are the exact same photo of hayden on the front. disc 2 has christine's photo.
not sure if it matters but my set came from amazon.ca (canada)
at any rate.........a SLIGHT improvement from previous releases.
I would like to have seen universal improve their menu design with motion menus rather then the old school dvd thumb nail menus. However, they finally switched the audio to stereo instead of mono which is a big plus.
bonus features, ah well..........we should say "bonus episode" from season 6.
i kind of scratched my head on that one? we seen in the past dvd sets releasing a bonus episode from the next upcoming season. However, releasing a bonus episode from 3 more seasons down the road. just don't understand the reasoning? The bonus episode is the final 2 episodes from season 6 (the mary hart interview 1 hour special.)
The episode is more or less a flash back from all of the previous seasons. So when they show events from season 4,5,and 6 (which aren't released yet) its kind of mind blowing.
I shouldn't complain too much atleast they added to this set.
Hopefully everyone continues to purchase coach releases so all 9 seasons will eventually hit the dvd retail market. It sure is nice enjoying these episodes from the entire un-edited original airings.
keep em coming universal! just a little more attention to detail next time around

My copy of Coach came in the fat cases. The one time I saw them on shelves so far, they were in fat cases (or at least that's what it looked like). That's all I know regarding this. I got sent the fat case version, and I'm pretty sure I saw the fat cases in stores.
Personally, if they ARE shipping in slimcases, I'd MUCH rather have those.
