and I used to love Last Christmas(and I still kinda do), but every Christmas, those radio stations that play the continuous Christmas music play it waaaaay too much!!!

does anyone else find George's more recent recordings to be pretentious and tedious? I bought the "Twenty Five" cd awhile back, which is a career-spanning GH (the one from 1998 didn't have Wham tracks, this one does), but there's more than enough late 90's and early 00's tracks. He still fares well when he comes out with the occasional dance track (Flawless, Amazing, Freeek, Outside), but his recent ballads are so anti-melodic and dragging, a far cry from how great something like Careless Whisper was.
