Old Sonic = Absolute Awesomeness. (Old Sonic basically meaning Sonic 1 through Sonic 3)

New Sonic = Mostly abysmal crap. If I'm playing a Sonic the Hedgehog game, I want fast levels, nice music, and unabashed speed, not slowdowns, an RPG element, and a plot.

For their next game, they should just simply re-do Sonic 2 in 3-D. No other changes other than making it 3-D. (Tweak the music a tiny amount to not make it sound like a MIDI, but keep it as close to the original as possible)

I'm with you on that one. I actually don't mind the newer games, but they don't even come close to the old Genesis ones. I'd love to see them go back to that formula.

I've heard Sonic Rush on the DS is somewhat similar to the older ones.

However, now that he has a job, it's a little harder for him to do that, but I cut him slack, it's really not a big deal.
