Something has been on my mind lately. How David L. Lander is doing with his MS and if he is doing okay. I liked him alot as Squiggy. I hope he has a good support system. It's necessary when you become disabled. I know that from personal experience. I keep him in my prayers alot because I know it is a difficult thing he is going through as so many others with MS.

I would like to know too. The last of what I know that David has done is his voice work on the cartoon OSWALD with Fred Savage from The Wonder Years. My son loves this show and so do I.

David Lander costarred in Michael McKean's recent animated series, "Hopeless Pictures". He played the ghost of Michael McKean's character and was pretty good. The last that I read is that he's dividing his time between MS speaking engagements and being a scout for minor league baseball teams.

I've always loved that Penny Marshall put both David Lander and Eddie Mekka in "League of their Own". I never saw David as animated, even when he was portraying Squiggy, as he was as the sport's broadcaster in LotO.

I posted this somewhere else here, but I ran into Lander at a deli just outside of Thousand Oaks California about 2 or 3 years ago. There were a couple of people talking to him. He seemed in good spirits, but his health has taken somewhat of a toll on him. He was friendly. I don't know why he was there, maybe he lives in the area or was visiting. Thousand Oaks is about 30 or 40 miles outside of Los Angeles. I think I read somewhere once that he and Cindy Williams dated for a time while the show was in production.
