With her husband, Helmut Huber, and newly unveiled wax sculpture in tow, "All My Children" star Susan Lucci, 61, was snapped at Madame Tussauds in NYC on Tuesday.

Oooooo, thanx for posting this Janice! You go Erica Kane!!!! I have been to the one in Las Vegas and also the Hollywood Wax Museum. The work they do to put the realism into the figures are phenomenal.

No, Axed means killed but Susan (as far as I know) isn't going to be killed off on AMC.

Aaron, there are wax museums around the country, where sculptors create life-like models of famous people, such as the one of Susan Lucci. They are made from wax and displayed at various Marie Tussaud's museums. Here is a link. Inside the link, on the right, you can see pictures of other wax sculptures of famous people. On the left, you can look at a list of other famous people that have had their image sculptured in wax. The term "waxed" was kind of a joke or a play on words. Susan got "waxed' because she had a wax sculpture made of her image.

Are you kidding? Susan will NEVER be fired from AMC no matter what ever she might do. She's like royalty there.
I've been to the Madame's in Las Vegas, New York & London. It's amazing some of those figures look exactly like the subject(I think some look almost like them).
I'd be anxious to see Susan's up close.
I remember that at Madame's in NY, they put the figure of Samuel L. Jackson out on the sidewalk. It was funny to see people's reactions because it looked so much like him.

When I saw the title Waxed I assume you were talking about her character getting raked over the coals by her new senator friend Sam.
