Does anyone know If Jinny is a nick name or short for something or is Jinny her real name.(I have'nt seen every episode)

I think that her real name is Virginia and her nickname is Jinny. I'm not too sure, though. I was wondering about this, too.

I think it's Jinny, on the name plate on her desk it says Jinny Exstead and if her name was Virginia they wouldn't put her nickname, Just like they dont put CD Delorenzo for CD.

That's exatally what I wa thinking. Because CD's nickname is... well... CD... but her real name is Candace. If Jinny's real name was Virginia... wouldn't they put that on there? I just think it's Jinny.
