well, Gary's been bankrupt almost since the day Diff'rent Strokes left the air. He's not necessarily someone whose going to just have the pick of any girl he sees. Good for him, he's 40, if they love each other, more power to him. He's done the bitter former child star bit for almost 20 years.

it's sad that everything Gary does is treated as a joke because of his past. It's not his fault that he couldn't grow in size, so he'd end up looking like Arnold for the rest of his life. He was one of the greatest child actors of the time, he had wonderful comic timing and he was the reason Diff'rent Strokes lasted eight seasons. The reason he became so bitter was because of his parents spending his money to the extent that he was broke by the time Strokes went off the air, and also because people always tease him because of who he was.

I think with turning 40 and getting married, that hopefully things will look up for Gary again. He deserves his own happiness after all the happiness and laughter he brought millions of viewers in the 70's and 80's.

Plus, the man is famous for being a virgin well into his 30's, I think considering he's been a "hasbeen" for 22 years (since DS ended in 1986), I'd rather be happy for him to have something to celebrate in his life. Even during Diff'rent Strokes, he had a depressing childhood. He's 40 now, he deserves some happiness and if this girl brings it to him, more power to her.

The Inside Edition story said that he's recently been to anger management classes (because someone saw him fighting with his wife and called the cops), but his wife said it didn't work.

Solomon, she is not that bad...I have seen a lot uglier; actually, I think she is very pretty; gorgeous hair, eyes and skin; far from being a monster, but that is my opinion...

I agree. Gary Coleman did fine. He is *not* Matt Damon or George Clooney, he's a broke washed up former child star whose been bankrupt since 1987, and plus he's tiny. He's not exactly going to have the pick of the litter.

OMG i so agree. My boyfriend was watching Inside Edition and he told me they were going to be on there, so I watched. She is absolutely pretty. The wedding pic posted here on the board doesn't do her justice. She has gorgeous eyes, pretty hair and flawless skin. She has a prominent jaw which some may find throws off her beauty, but hell, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and for Gary (and myself and a lot of people here) she is a beauty. So many women would be happy to have her skin and eyes. Far from a monster. There are women who are absolutely pretty but have an ugly personality and THAT to me, makes them ugly.

She looks normal but on Inside Edition they were mentioning how Gary has problems with his anger. From all the times i've seen Gary on news shows and stuff, he always acts like a big baby. Someone wanted his autograph or something and he got all pissed off at them. I think one asked him to say the line "what you talking about Willis?" and he got really bent out of shape about it. What the heck do you expect when you make a tv show with a popular line? He seemed so nice and cute in the Different Strokes days but now he just seems bitter and mean. I would never want to meet him in person. I'd change this thread's title to Monster Gary Coleman is married to someone who is too good for him.

why is he so rude to fans asking for autographs? Isn't his big beef the fact that he's a hasbeen and doors are closed to him for who he was? You'd think he would be glad if someone walked up to him and said "Mr. Coleman, I'm a big fan of your work, do you mind signing an autograph for me?" since he's so bitter that it doesn't happen enough to him.

I truly believe that is WHY he is a hasbeen. He probably had lots of opportunities to get new acting jobs but with his attitude probably didn't want to take them up or nobody wanted someone as mean as him. He should be thankful he even got the chance to act in Diffrent strokes, some people go through life wishing to be an actor and never are able to become one.

I would say Todd Bridges has been through worse than Gary has since Strokes ended, with the drug addictions and everything, but yet he pulled himself out of the rubble. Granted, he's still pretty much seen as a former child star, but he does get work and was on Young And The Restless for a while a couple years back (and Y&R is the #1 soap on television). He's been through hell and back, but he's a more assertive person and worked his butt off at trying to show he's reformed and has had steady work in recent years. Yet Gary is such a bitter little man and is a punchline.

It's such a shame and I do blame his adoptive parents for how he turned out. He was such a cute lovable little boy but his parents manipulated him and ripped him off millions of dollars that he made during his Strokes run (I read once that he was second to Larry Hagman as the highest paid actor on television), that it negatively affected him. That is why I hope his wife will finally bring out some joy he's been lacking for 20 years.

Exactly. I really dont know who would still think Gary to be a cute little kid, if there is anyone out there who thinks he's still a little kid they got research to do. I think that thought is all in Gary's head.They should treat him with respect if they dont already, but its hard to treat someone with respect who takes every little thing so seriously and is always defensive about stuff that doesnt make sense. I know he had every right to be mad when his parents sued him or whatever happened, but what can he do now? It's over. I had no clue,” says the blushing bride. “I mean I knew that we were getting married, but I thought it would be just a little chapel.”

Coleman, who is only 4’8” tall, admits that this is the first “romantic relationship” he has participated in. “I never got the opportunity to be romantic or feel romantic with anyone…I wasn’t saving myself, she just happened to be the one.”

Price, who stands over 5’7” tall, tells INSIDE EDITION height was never a factor in their relationship. “He was ten feet tall to me because he was sweet and I really liked his personality. That doesn’t really matter to me.”

Coleman echoes Price’s sentiment when it comes to their age difference telling INSIDE EDITION, “I don’t have issues with age, I have issues with intelligence…She’s more intelligent then I am and that’s what matters to me.”

The couple also shares the reason they say they kept their marriage a secret. Price says, “I just want my own identity as well because I don’t want to be known as Gary Coleman’s wife.”

Her proud husband agrees. “I wouldn’t want that in a million years. I wouldn’t want you to be known as Gary Coleman’s wife. I hope you do get successful. She’s a great eBay-er. She’s a fabulous eBay-er. I hope she gets famous for that.”

I don’t even want to fight over this, its ridiculous.” Price admits on several occasions the fights have gone beyond yelling. “He lets his anger conquer him sometimes, I don’t like the violence, I really don’t…He throws things around, and sometimes he throws it in my direction…He’s got to damage something before his anger stops.”

Coleman explains to INSIDE EDITION why he threw a printer on the morning of his interview with the television show. “I threw the printer because my agent wanted to send me a fax, and it wouldn’t fax, and she (Price) was upset at me over something that I had done. And I just took that printer and said, ‘You know what, you just need to die.’”
