Reading all of these recent posts regarding cousin Oliver caused me to realize something that I find very interesting and that I had never thought of before! A while back, I have posted several messages regarding the fact that the only episode in the Post-Oliver days that I really liked was the one in which Cindy thought that she was going to be discovered as the new Shirley Temple. I thought that seeing Cindy's bubble being bursted at the end was a real form of poetic justice! Another thing that I have done quite a bit of is comparing the bubble bursting in this episode with the bubble bursting at the end of a "Gimme a Break!" episode known as "Samantha's Protest". In my opinion, both girls really got what they deserved! Another obvious similarity of the shows in general is the fact that they both added a new little kid to the cast to bring back some of the cuteness that was lost after the original cast started to grow up. However the similarity that I had never thought of is the fact that the episode with the bubble bursting took place very shortly after the new kid was introduced! What do other fans think of this corolation? Because of how many recent posts there have been on this page, you would have to go back quite a ways to get to any of my posts on this topic. However, in the recent past, there have been very few posts on the "Gimme a Break!" page of this site by anyone other than me! Because of this, a lot of my posts will be right before yours eyes when and if you go to this page of this site. On a lot of my recent threads, I speak about the ways that these two situation are very similar. What would really make my day would be if other fans would dig into some of these posts and resport what you think on either page of this site!
