I wish there was more variety in the schedule. I see a lot of networks showing the same thing repeatedly. I wish ABC Family could go 24 hours and possibly do away with the paid programming (The 700 Club, Living The Life, Joyce Meyers, etc.)

I like seeing Step by Step back at 2pm but I still like Sabrina. I'm also surprised they put Sister, Sister in all the slots that Family Matters was in. I'm surprised they didn't try to add a different show as well. I don't know if Sister, Sister will get the same ratings as Family Matters did.

I am going to miss Family Matters.:( Now I don't have a reason to look at that channel. I might tune into sister, sister now and again.

Since I'm in Canada I haven't seen Urkel for a while, except in the summer when I'm in the States.

I hope I can just relax with Full House, Family Matters, Home Improvement, a bit of Fresh Prince, and I'm gonna try out George Lopez since I've never really watched it before

Thats exactly what I meant. I love looking at FM at 7:00 am and 1:00pm. Now I have to find something else to watch in the afternoon instead of having to wait until 10:00 or 11:00pm. I hope they treat it as well as ABC Family did.

I'm sure they will cut out the funny parts like they do with all the shows on their schedule-lol

I was expecting a schedule like this exactly . . . I am gonna miss Family Matters, too. It was a 1pm staple in my house for years-LOL. I just hope Nick at Nite treats it as fairly as ABC Family has.

1pm is too early for Sister, Sister. It's probably the show that attracts the biggest afterschool audience on the schedule. That's quite a lot of Sister Sister on the schedule. We get 6 airings of it each day (counting the 2 WGN airings). And why'd they move Sabrina to 8pm only? Besides that, it's a pretty good schedule.

I was as well hoping for a new show, just to give more variety. If anything, I would have loved to see Boy Meets Worlc ome back.

Pavan, do you know how What I Like About you is doing for ABC Family? I just love the show and need to record the fourth season of it over the summer if I get the chance!

700 Club and Living the Life is never going away. No matter who owns the channel now and in the future--those CBN shows are a package deal that comes as a condition when Pat Robertson sold the old Family Channel.

They would have to buy out Pat Robertson to get rid of the 700 Club. It will be on the channel forever.

I'm glad Step By step is moving back to the afternoon and at least Sabrina come on both ABC Family and the N!

Move the 700 Club and so on to over nights then nobody would watch them probley and then from 6am to 12am can be for Movies,Drama's,Comdies and so on.

Oh yes! I forgot all about the Hogan Family! Too bad it couldn't have been brought back. It would have added more variety to the schedule for sure.

ABC Family or any channel in the USA for that matter cannot air BMW anymore. Buena Vista's distribution license ran up on August 31, 2007. It was mentioned on TVSHOWSONDVD.COM in July that the show was looking for a new distributor for DVD and television and would return when this happened. Sadly, I don't think it'll happen at this point or if it does, it'll be years down the road and when so will probably be on N@N or the N or something.

I just checked the ABC Family schedule and it says Step by Step IS atiring from 2-3!

he is saying that Step By Step is going to be airing at 7:00 am 7:30 am 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm central Time.

rebafan1...the listings are not updated yet. Sabrina will be airing in the 2-3pm slot still.

Does it seem obvious why Step By Step will not air in the more prestigious afternoon timeslot. ABC Family loves the episodes from the final couple seasons when the kids are around 20 years old. Back in Summer 2003, when the show origninally got promoted from mornings and moved to 1pm ct, season 5 was the first episdoes to air. In fall 2006, it moved from 930 am ct to 1pm ct and started airing episodes when some of the kids were college aged. It's always been this way. Since they are currently showing the beginning of season 3 in the early morning slot, I'm wondering if it will be a while before they move it back to a good afternoon timeslot. ABC Family don't seem comfortable with airing the young shows in a good timeslot.

I haven't been watching ABC Family a lot lately. I'll occasionally catch Sabrina or WILAY, but it just doesn't seem the same without Family Matters. It won't seem right watching it on Nick at Nite come April . . . it belongs on ABC Family.
