Ok, so I just got through watching the episode for the second time, but this time I got to watch it all in peace-which was wonderful. Anywhoo, here's my take on it, and I'm sure I'll leave out stuff so when I edit this topic in the morning you know why...

Angela 'don't take nothin' off nobody'...I love that style! She came right back in an literally took charge of that case. I really like her style, and she keeps growing on me. I wish Lela wouldn't leave the show. I can't help but wonder though if this episode was shot BEFORE Lela said she was going to leave, because this sorta built Angela up as a cop who wouldn't quit for anything, so it's going to be interesting to see why Angela leaves the S.F.P.D.
Daniel was actually ok in this episode. Although he bugged me pretty bad in the previous episodes, he was actually tolerable, which is a step in the right direction. Too bad, cause we won't be seeing him much more either...

I love C.D.'s attitude. I don't know why, I just like the way people are innocent until proven guilty with her, or in this case guilty until proven innocent.

I like the little 'confrontation' between C.D. and Jinny about that lady being released. They each argued good points, and the thing was the point they were arguing hit home with both Jinny and Magda it seemed.

Did anyone catch the look on C.D.'s face when Cap and Angela were reffering to that lady as cold blooded murder? I think something is up with C.D., and I can't wait to see what http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Gabriel is cool! I wonder what's gonna happen between he and Magda, because that look on Magda's face tonight after he gave her a kiss on the cheek was a look of pure shock and confusement. Wonder if the answer to the question is going to be yes or no...?

I liked the scene between Jinny and Magda while they were counting and attempting to return those nice DVD players and everything. Pretty neat... The look on Jinny's face when the officer brought yet another DVD player was HILARIOUS http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/lol.gif I cracked up laughin'!

Jinny is a mystery. She was obviously stressed from work because she went to her locker and had a little drink. Then she had a bomb dropped on her when Teddt told her he loved her...(my heart stopped beating for a minute I think)! I'm glad she is/was willing to face her fears and talk with Teddy, but it stinks how he had that case to work on. I did like how they were choking around with each other in the parking lot though http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif I don't think Jinny meant to hurt Teddy by making out with that other guy, I just think she wanted comfort-I wish she hadn't gone back to her old ways though...he loves her, and she knows it. He isn't running from her, even if she thinks he is.

The thing that gets me: Was Teddy looking for Jinny to tell her that he told his boss he'd have to skip the questioning and that he would spend the weekend with her...?
...That question is gonna haunt me until we know the answer!
I think we'll be seeing Teddy in season2!

All in all a good episode. I can't wait to next week. Just when it seems Jinny is trying to get her life together, this happens. Even more so, next week she gives into the temptation of alcohol again...she's in a mess and I don't know how she's gonna get out of it...!

K, I'm gonna go watch the ep again and then go to bed. I think the Pepsi I just drank is doing something to me..that's why I try and stick to coke...

...Back to my hole http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

I agree with you 100%! I thought this was a great episode, although I cant wait to see what Teddy says to Jinny! If he even says anything...o well. But yes, a great episode!!

------------------
Teddy: What are you afriad of? Your afriad I'll break your heart.

Jinny: Teddy, I would roll over you like Grant took Richmond.

-------------------------

Jinny: Why don't you let me tell you a little about my family. See, I never really had a birthday party, unless of course you WANNA count my 15th, where my father showed up for cake plastered and in his underwear! Oh, ya. by the way, my mom couldn't make it that year either because sadly 6 months earlier she BLEW HER BRAINS OUT!

Teddy: Jinny, my God!

Jinny: As for my brother, ya, John. See, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white and straight! And, as for me, a few weeks ago, when, ah, I had that nutcase after me, I made a list of all the guys that I've slept with in the past two years...I couldn't remember some of their names.

Teddy: Stop!

Jinny: You know what? THIS IS WHO I AM! THIS IS MY FAMILY. C'mon. It's your turn. You go ahead...flash that all American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter....it doesn't change anything.....Ya, that's what I thought!

Jinny's life.

wow ks! ur fingers must be hurting after writing all that..but ya i agree with everything you say and it was a great episode!

Angela- it was nice to see as that she is really passionit about her work and that even with all thats happened she can just jump back in and take control..i've for the most part always like angela and thought Lela did a very good job as an actress and its a bummer to see her go

Magda/Gaberial- hmmmm the possibilities...that was sooo funny though to see the look on her face after he kissed her~ when he proposers to her she will proabley turn him down i dont know why but it doesnt seem right for magda to be getting married

Jinny- i was sooo happy for her that she was going to go on the that weekend trip and "talk" because it might be very healthy for her and talking is always the start and foundation and solving problems...and to hear Teddy say he loves her that must mean a lot

Teddy- poor baby, dont worry ill comfort you http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif if jinny and teddy do stay together after this little incident i believe that teddy could change Jinny's life for the better..hey ps teddy get the old hair style back!

Captain- where was she in this episode?!!?!
she really had a smaller role in this episode~

CD/Jinny- they both had some great points but Jinny really knows wht she is talking bout and wonder if they sense anything

i cant think really of much else o yea did u see how much chinese food they had for lunch!

------------------
Rory: Do you know what happens to people when they're late on their first day?
Lorelai: It's shorter?

I agree with you totally ks! That episode was great!

When CD asked Angela if she had all of her back the "Bad ass take nothin' from nobody" version. If there was anything less they'd have to talk. I thought that was awesome!!!

With Ben, Magda and Gabrial...well I think that Gabriel is a wonderful father to Ben and he's trying to make up for all he hadn't been! Magda is just a little hesitant.

I will always wish Lela doesn't leave.

Okay well great episode and next week should be even better! Oh one more thing...when Jinny had a drink on the job, I started screaming because I didn't think she was stupid enough to do that!! My dad almost killed me because he was trying to watch a movie.

I agree wif you ks!!!

Angela- I like her style. She just doesn't give up. It must be a pretty hard blow if she's gonna end up leaving the S.F.P.D. I wanna know how it's gonna play out. Lela does an awesome job playing Angela and I wish she wouldn't leave.

Jinn/Teddy- O geez, Jin! I have to admit... I'm kinda disappointed in Jinny. I mean... Theodore got this huge job offer/case/whatever and she should have been excited for him... but look who were talking about here. It broke my heart when Teddy Dearest saw Jinny making out with that other guy. I think she just felt rejected because of what had happened earlier that day. But don't worry Teddy... I'll comfort you. Hehe.

Jinny/Magda- I loved that little conversation that they had at the beginning of the episode! Ah! Jin looked so cute when she had her chin rested ontop of her arms! It was funny to see their reaction when the officer brought in more stuff.

Jinny/CD- I really liked the tention between them and the little argument they had. But they both had good points.

Last night I noticed something... ok. You know the lady that played Harlem Markem (however you spell it), I think her name was Karen Austin. Or something like that. Well... she guest starred as Denise on Three's Company early this morning. I thought that was pretty cool.

I'm out...

On April 24, 2008, Dana and I are to meet in LA and handcuff ourselves to Nancy McKeon [Jinny Dearest] and Jay Harrington [Teddy Dearest], and you're not. Hahaha! :D :p

Jay Harrington is all mine! I don't care what you guys say, cuz he's mine! Not yours! AHAHAHAHAAAA!

Mr. Blumenthal: And how about you, Jinny? *Teddy tries to take the drink away from
Jinny* Uhh... Ok. Please, tell us about some of your cases. The ones your on, please.
Jinny: Well, we just finished one where we nailed the step father for abusing his step
daughter. Yeah... she was three and a half.
Mr. Blumenthal: Awww. That's awful, you know, you can't pick up--
Jinny: *cuts him off* Then there's the one where, wait... we've got pending now, I'm tellin'
ya. OK, OK. You with me? *looks around and Teddy takes her drink away* So the guy, he
calls 911, OK? He says he's just killed his wife!
Teddy: All right.
Jinny: We can't find the body *takes her drink back from Teddy Dearest*, until we look in
the refrigerator.
Teddy: Ok. Hey Jinny.
Jinny: Very neatly carved.

Okay, I'm rather ticked at Teddy right now. He brought it upon himself. Because if he prefers a career over Jinny... Plus, building her hopes up, "I love you." "We should go away this weekend to talk." Then she actually accepted!! "I really wanna make this work." Even though she can't admit it, I think she really loves him, too. I think it would be funny if Magda just flat-out said, "I know you love, Teddy, Jinny, no matter what you say!" Okay... I better drop this before I start crying again...

Angela- I really like how her storyline was played out. I figured they'd just do it one week and it would be all over the next, but they told it very nicely.

C.D.- I think she's really warming up to Angela. It'll be interesting to see her reaction when Angela leaves.

C.D./Jinny- OMG, I laughed almost through the entire commercial break after that scene. I couldn't stop it! C.D. would've made a good lawyer!

Jinny- So, that's what they meant about another blow to her already fragile ego!

Magda- I really enjoyed this storyline! Magda and Gabriel could work together. There's only one lil problem about him... It's nothing big. Actually, you'd have to be from here to get it. I see Gabriel and Ben developing into something. I think Ben's adorable!

Okay... I'll stop rambling now...

My very random thoughts on last night's ep http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Angela/Daniel: I didn't like how Daniel was trying to get her to take the blame 4 something she didn't do, that was totally selfish of him, but I'm glad he came to his senses by the end of the ep. Lela kinda disappointed me with this ep. I honestly didn't think her acting was as good as it could have been. She often times acts very passive when I think, she should be saying certain lines with direct force, confidence, and strength.

Magda/Gabriel: I liked all the scenes between them. I loved her face when he kissed her, and did you guys see Ben's smile when he saw them kiss? I thought that was sooo sweet. She's still very leary of him, and rightfully so, but Gabriel's turning out to be a nice guy.

Cap: Nothing much 4 her

C.D.: I liked that scene between her and Jinny when Jinny was saying how she thought people couldn't change, C.D. really stated her case. I also liked how C.D. was with that women who'd been a criminal, forgot her name, and how she tried to treat her like a regular person.

Jinny/Teddy: I've calmed down a little bit about the lack of Jinny and realized that the scenes she was in were very good. I liked that first little scene between them, when she was asking him why he still wanted to pursue her, I thought that was really great of Teddy to come out and say that he loved her. And when he asked her to go away with him 4 the weekend 2 "talk" I was practically yelling at the screen "Do it, Jinny, do it!" I loved that scene between her and Magda, I totally understood why Jinny didn't want to talk to Teddy. It was sad though when she said, "It scares the hell outta me" or something like that. I was really happy when she told Magda she'd decided to go. And it was breaking my heart when Teddy was telling her he couldn't go away. She looked so happy when she talking to him, cause she knew she was gonna say yes, and then he laid that bomb on her. Then at the end, when the tear was running down her face, omg, I was soooo sad, and I felt bad 4 Teddy when he saw her kissing that guy. I can't wait 4 next week! It seems to me they haven't really broken up yet.

Well, hope ya understood all that. What'd the rest of you folks think?

okay call me crazy but I think that Teddy will forgive her and she doesn't get it. Like she couldn't understand why he would do that. so maybe her confusion with Teddy, makes her drink on the job(again) which leads to Magda begging for her life.
also I think that even though jinny will be drunk she will come out and help Magda. I think the Cap will force Jinny into help, like AA. Now enough with the scences and me predicting what will happen. So when I saw Jinny drink on duty I threw my hat at the tv(as if that would make her stop) with angela I think she made the right descision, it wasn't her fault, so why should she get blamed for it. Millions of dollars or integrity? She made the Right choice. with magda at the end when Gabriel kissed her I think The look had shock but mostly because she didn't want Ben to think his parents are getting together. I think the conflict between CD and Jinny was needed we really don't see many scences with them interacting.Sometimes i don't think they are even friends. I have to say my favorite part was when all five of them had lunch, we really don't see that anymore.
okay i know this didn't make sense but bear with me it's summertime-baffledee

coily-It'll be on Friday night again. My comments will be really sketchy on this because we had a really bad storm when it was on and in the midst I was at another tv checking weather reports for my parents who were driving home (the wonders of cell phones), the power went out so I missed one scene, and if anyone can tell me what happened the last five minutes of Sex and the City I would really appreciate it because that vcr did not resume recording! Oh, the cable cut out a couple of times to let me know what channel to turn to for updated weather reports.

Anyway, after watching the scenes I missed (well, the ones I had on tape) this is what I think. It was an excellent episode. The writers seem to be more consistent on carrying topics over and not dropping them (Angela's stuff, Jinny's drinking, Magda/Gabrial).

I like Magda/Gabriel. It's two people who couldn't work it out when they were younger, but now, older, they have a different set of priorities that seem to coincide. This is going to be interesting, but I really like their chances.

Agree that this isn't the last of Teddy. I might give him another chance if he helps Jinny out of her drinking and drops the possessive crap.

LFR kicks ass. Too bad she's leaving.

Sorry if this wasn't coherant, but watching the show last night didn't exactly go as expected! And there were some hilarious lines in it too!

That I can do.... OK, Aidan came to Carrie and told her that he was still pissed off that she was still talking with Big, and asked her to get him out of her life. She refused, then started telling Aidan that he needed to forgive her - like 10 times. It was lame, and Aidan said he was still willing to try. Nothing memorable in the last 5 minutes with the other girls - Samantha shaved her man, Charolette left the gallery, and Miranda called Carrie out on being a poor friend sometimes.

Okie dokie artichokie, here's my two sense.....

Angela - OMG I she rocked!!! I'm so glad she's not gonna take the deal. I loved it when CD said that she hoped that she had all of Angie back, the bad ass take nothing from nobody version. CD and Angie are really starting to get along. Daniel didn't bother me in this episode. He was being supportive and sweet, which is a change. When that guy told her that along with the deal, she would have to resign, I figured that she would take it cuz Lela is leaving the show and Angie quitting could be Lela's exit. So I was surprised when Angie turned the deal down but she made the right choice IMO. I wish that Lela wasn't leaving. Angie is my second favorite character - (Jinny being my first favorite).

CD - I liked how she gave that woman the benefit of a doubt. CD's a fair person. I loved that scene between her and Jinny when they were talking (shall I say arguing?) about the woman's innocence and people being able to change. CD really made her point.

Jinny - I feel soooo bad for her! When she went down to her locker and drank, I was like "What the hell are you doing?!". That conversation between her and Teddy about him loving her and wanting her to go away with him was interesting. I liked how Jinny asked him WHY he wanted to be with her. I wanted her to say no about going away cuz I don't want her to work out her problems. Her problems distinguish her from everyone else and they make her likable. The conversation she had with Magda evinces her fears of committing. It was nice to see how happy Jinny became whenever she decided to go but then Teddy crushed her and she became depressed again which was sooo sad. At the end, I felt bad for her when she was sitting at the bar crying. Then when she was making out with that guy and Teddy walked in, I half expected him to go and do something about it, but he didn't. Can't wait to see what happens with this storyline!

Magda - I have my suspicions about Gabriel. There's just something about him that isn't right. He and Magda should definitely get back together but there's just something weird about him. He is good to Ben which is great, though. Loved the scene with her and Jinny and the TVs and stuff - funny.

Cap - Where the hell was she?!

That's all!

Thank you coily! The tape cut out right in the middle of the conversation between Carrie and Aidan. Not a happy camper.
