I know that the odds are C.D.'s new partner is going to be a woman. However, I enjoy going against the odds so here's a theory:
...What if Deluca is going to be C.D.'s new partner. He helped her investigate Dick's murder/suicide, and he's being brought back tonight to help her investigate a case. I think it'd be fun to see C.D. work with a male partner. Another thing in the back of my mind is C.D. is splitting with Paul...in walks handsome Deluca. Hmmmm....

I hope they don't bring Deluca in to be CD's partner. TD is about five women cops. I don't wanna see it turn into four women cops plus one guy.

you never know, because....there WAS paul...but obviosly he didnt last long... but the fact that it is a cop show about 5 female cops, haveing one leave and another woman joining in, is kinda farfetched IMO

I would rather they not add another main cast member, but make Deluca CD's partner. The show works better when its focused on a small group of people. He doesn't need a storyline or figure into personal relationships, except maybe to be used as a sounding board. Lifetime and the show would be well-served to focus the show on the 4 remaining characters instead of introducing a new character into the mix.
