Off the top of my head I can remember Willona using that line when she found out Walter was deaf but I can't remember when Florence used it

I know when Willona said it she used that phrase in a "shock" style way. Of course because she was shocked that Walter was deaf.

As for Florence, I can think of her saying it more as sarcastic, but I too can't remember when she said it. Was it in the Hawaiian episodes when she thought that guy was going to propose marriage to her but he didn't?

The Difference is craftman gave me examples of why TV One was Uncut. You never did that so it was no way for me to know-lol

I do have to purchase it now because I now know there are scenes on the DVD I never seen before. So as a GT fan I have to get the DVD, it din't have to be tomorrow but I have to eventually get it. So far I only have to get season 3 and 6 on DVD

What do you do craftman, do you write down the jokes and then watch an episode and try and see if it is repeated? Or do you know the jokes so well that when you hear it you can remember which episodes they were said?

BTW, I know JJ called Thelma coyote face during some argument. :lol: I am sure Brieannas can vouch for that.

Pretty much both. Over the years I remember hearing some jokes in more than one episode. The last couple of weeks I've been watching them in order and when I recognize a joke that I remember was repeated, I'd write it down and wait 'til I get to the other episode it was in.

I'll have to watch for that "coyote face", I just can't remember hearing that one.

I too have heard what sounded like repeated jokes, I always thought maybe it sounded the same but maybe they just twisted the words around or changed it a bit.

yeah, I can almost swear it was when J.J. and Thelma were going at it and J.J. said, "You old coyote face..." but when he said it Thelma was saying her thing and it was kinda muffled out. I wish I could remember what episode it was.

Well, if you know Good Times like we know Good Times, you at least know those lines were said. As soon as I read it, I knew he was right. I never caught the repeated jokes (I still say JJ said "ol coyote face" at least twice) until craftman posted them here and I know he has been reviewing the episodes checking for them.

I can't recall Frank Mason's comment, he must have said it so fast that I wasn't paying attention to it or the way he said it, it wasn't memorable to me. :lol:

It's the same way on the DVD. Florida and Willona are already in a convo when the ep starts. It does seem like something was cut in the beginning.

Hey Irene, No No, I don't write all the jokes down. From years of watching the show I think I remember EVERY joke that was said and sometimes which episode it was in. When I hear a certain joke I remember them using it before another ep.

That's why I have my doubts about JJ saying "old coyote face". I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying I don't remember him ever saying that not even once. But I know you have a good memory too, it might have been cut out of my DVD's, but I haven't come across it yet.

Maybe because the different writers, didn't know the others writers already came up with these jokes. I guess some writers think a lot alike.

:rofl: It sounds like the writers were ready to repeat the joke, when someone called them on it and said, "No repeats, change it up a bit." And they did. I got to call it a repeat simply because it is so close to being repeated. :thumbsup:
