I know I have. I just bought season 4 yesterday. I figure I'll just tape seasons 5 and 6 over the summer when I'm out of school!

I will if there is no release after this year. Also my advice is to record the show off of a local station or TBS because N@N edits of fresh prince are horrible.

Its highly doubtful that Season 5 will come out on DVD. It was nearly two years ago since the 4th season was released

Well it's always hope since Barney Miller had it's first release in 2008 since 2004-lol

You gotta remember though, this is WB. They are known for abandoning shows either after a season 1 release or way into the series! BTW, TBS cuts the theme song and a lot of the episode! I was watching the ep where Jazz, Carlton and Will end up at the bar where Carlton becomes obsessed with gambling quarter slots and I couldn't believe all the edits. Both N@N and TBS edit to the extreme it's just they edit out different things!

Solomon, you and I as big fans of The Jeffersons should know that you ought to never give up hope on a season being released after a long wait. It has been since August 2006 that we got our last release. I'll give it until the end of the summer before I give up hope.

Remember that Jeffersons Season 2 came out in Spring 2003, but Season 3 did not come until Spring 2005. (By the way, any word on Season 7 of that show? Our last release was back in April).

I'm not saying it is for sure that FP will do the same, but it is still possible. FP only has two seasons to go and is very popular. Perhaps the CONSTANT airing of it on television has discouraged WB from releasing it. I actually heard a few months ago that the delay was because of getting rights to the music to be played in the episodes. SNL had a similar problem before they started releasing their season sets.

If it is indeed the end of FP on DVD, it is a shame. Not even the legend himself Will Smith did one damn special feature. Oh well. We can always tape reruns on TBS. ;)

Yeah I guess I will try and just look at the show on TBS more until season 5 comes out. Sad thing is I recorded every FP ep during season off NBC with commercials and no longer have the tapes-lol

I'm not as worried about Seasons 5-6 of Fresh Prince eventually coming out as I am about some of the older series.
If there's money to be made, even a little, they'll eventually produce them.
But since Fresh Prince is a relatively newer sitcom, somebody could at least try to tape the final two seasons off Nick or TBS or wherever, in case they for some reason don't come out on DVD.
Some of the older shows aren't even re-run anymore, though, and if they aren't out on DVD, a fan is outta luck!!!! For instance, where are Seasons 5-7 of the Mary Tyler Moore Show????
But think about it, they can't come out with everything at one time.

I should have the 5 and 6 seasons after my comp finishes downloading this fresh prince seasons 1-6 entire series torrent. if the quality is good and not much is edited, I can post the episodes within the next couple of weeks. ok

That'd be cool, Wreckless. I haven't lost hope, I've just been wondering if they forgot us and the fact that there were two more seasons of the show. It's not like I can sell my 4 seasons as a set, I don't have the other 2.

Yeah, it's nice to have the whole series, just to watch, enjoy and have as a collection. You can always buy bootleg sets if you REALLY want the 5th and 6th seasons. I haven't lost hope either, but the clock is ticking, and fast.

since i watched the show on nbc the last two seasons, i decided that i won't even buy season 5 and 6 because it wouldn't be any new discoveries

woth season 3 i wanted to buy because i had a foggy memory of the unedited ep with oprah winfrey as a guest. but i know everything that happened with season 5 and 6

Well once I moved out my mom's house and then over the years they kind of just disappeared from me

That sucks. I have the whole season on torrent, besides the 4 I already have on DVD. The fifth season has great quality and the 6th has great quality, except a couple episodes have a couple quirks in them, as far as quality goes. It's easy to see but sometimes their will be be something wrong with the screen, in the middle of a 6th season episode I'm watching.

I know I'm sick of watching only 4 seasons all the time! If the rest of the seasons do come out, which I'm not so sure about BTW, I'll go ahead & buy them.

You can just watch episodes of season 5 and 6 on TBS, The-N, ABC Family or many Internet sites.

I have the 5th Season, I downloaded it off a torrent site and the quality is great on all the episodes....i have the 6th as well, and the quality is still good, but some episodes in the last season I need to re-up cause the quality stinks (it's only like 3/4 episodes that this applies to, so their are 30/40 episodes in the 2 seasons remaining that I have, that are of great quality).....
