I have to agree, the way Tyree stopped the tip of that football from touching the ground was amazing and I think it is defintely the best SB play.

It was an amazing play no doubt, but the best in SB history might be a stretch. There have been tons of great plays in the Super Bowl. I guess it all depends on who you ask.

Brian the only play that comes close is the Lynn Swann catch in the SB against Dallas nd that was rated #2. Tyree is by far the best

Not only the catch but the way Eli alluded 3 defenders. The combination of the two and the fact that it came at such a key time makes it the best or certainly one of the best plays of all time.

I certainly see your point there. lol Tyree was very lucky, because he fell on a Patriot defender. If he fell straight to the ground, that ball would've jarred loose.

The swann catch was great but mike golic made a great point with the swann catch bradshaw is not put under pressure manning has to escape 3 potiental sackers and then tyree with the great catch out fighting rodney harrison for the ball. So there was 2 elements to the play.
