(The NY Giants won the Super Bowl by beating the NE Patriots 17-14.)
(Ralph & Ed watched the Super Bowl at the Raccoon Lodge with their fellow Raccons and their respecive wives.)
Ralph (yells): "WHAT A GAME, HUH NORTON? I CAN'T BELIVE IT ALICE! THE GIANTS FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE '91, THEY HAVE WON THE SUPER BOWL. WOO HOO!"
Alice: "I can't believe it Ralph. What a Cinderella story."
Ralph: "You can say that again."
(Ed starts crying.)
Ralph: "What's the matter Norton?"
Ed: "I may have been pulling for the Giants, but I wanted to see the Pats become the first undefeated team since the '72 Dolphins."
Ralph: "Norton, you are ready for Bellevue. This Giant team may be the best in history."
Ed: "Well Ralph, I just wanted to see history being made."
Ralph: "You just did Norton. the Giants won the Big One for the first time in 17years."
Ed: "Well, I wanted to see the Pats bee the first undefeated champs in 35 years. 35 is twice as long as 17 and I heard that if you don';t pull for the Pats, then you are unpatriotic."
Ralph: "Norton, if you see a man in a white coat, run. It ain't the Good Humor Man. I can't wait to go to the victory celebration. I will take off from work and go."
Ed: "Me too. I wonder if they will have a victory parade. They have to. Only trouble is, it will be hard to have a parade on a highway. That is where Giants Stadium is located."
Ralph: "Norton, they can't have a parade on a highway. They will have it around the Stadium. Anyway, also this will be the first real victory parade since '86. They would have had one in '91 if it hadn't been for Saddam starting the first Gulf War. That bum!"
Ed: "I am glad that he is out of office."
Ralph: "I Can't wait until we go to that victory parade Norton. We will sing."
Alice: "Sing what?"
Ralph & Ed (sing louldly): "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIENDS. WE WILL KEEP ON FIGHTING UNTIL THE END. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. WEEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. NO TIME FOR LOSERS BECAUSE WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS...OF THE WORRRRRRRRLD."
(Audience cheers.)
Ed: "We should also sing 'Glory Days' by Bruce Springsteen."
Alice (imitatiing Simon Caldwell): "That singing was terrible."
(Ralph casts a mean look.)
Alice: "I'm kidding Ralph."
Ralph: "Good. You are the greatest."
(They all sing "Glory Days.")
(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience cheers.)
Jackie: "THANK YOU. GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE!"
(Audience cheers.)
