View Full Version : The theme song of this show James28 02-03-2008, 06:27 AM I have listened to both theme song of the now-extinct sitcom House Calls. the first theme sounds more appropriate for a medical sitcom that the second theme. The second one sounds kind of beautiful. What do you think of the two theme songs? James28 03-11-2008, 05:38 PM I just found two intros of the show on YouTube. They are part of a compilation of opening creditses from old TV series. I couldn't fint out what that symbol between the X and O is, so you'll have to type in 1982 TV show intros on the search engine to get the video with the intro. Nevertheless, I could play the second theme on an island or resort setting and in an area that has many hotels. I wish the second theme hasd been used for the entire run of the series. The second theme, although livelier, sounds like generic sitcom music IMO. James28 05-23-2022, 09:57 PM IIRC, according to Mark Little's MyThemes.tv (which shut down several years ago), both of the theme songs of House Calls were composed by Patrick Williams. However, upon seeing both versions of HC's end credits (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38mWGroUUKU), the music for this series was composed by Jack Elliott & Allyn Ferguson and Michael Lang. No mention of Mr. Williams. Either Patrick Williams was uncredited or this is just an outright mis-crediting on the part of MyThemes.tv. |
