Please cite points; for example, Giants by 12 or Pats by 8. TVFactFan 01-30-2008, 03:38 PM that the halftime show will be long and boring-lol Janice 01-30-2008, 03:40 PM that the halftime show will be long and boring-lol LOL. The score, Solomon, the score? bandito 01-30-2008, 06:09 PM Pats 35 Giants 24 The Giants have a good enough Defense to keep it close for a half. Then Brady will take over the game. The Giants Offense won't be able to score enough points to win the game. Janice 01-30-2008, 06:34 PM Pats 35 Giants 24 The Giants have a good enough Defense to keep it close for a half. Then Brady will take over the game. The Giants Offense won't be able to score enough points to win the game. Peter King, of Sports Illustrated, just made a predication simliar to yours - Pats 34, Giants 27. :) TVFactFan 01-30-2008, 06:38 PM LOL. The score, Solomon, the score? Sorry I don't predict the score of the biggest game of the year-lol Can't do it Janice 01-30-2008, 06:42 PM Sorry I don't predict the score of the biggest game of the year-lol Can't do it Why not? bandito 01-30-2008, 06:45 PM Peter King, of Sports Illustrated, just made a predication simliar to yours - Pats 34, Giants 27. :)I've always liked that Peter King Fella. TVFactFan 01-30-2008, 06:50 PM Why not? Because like you said, it's a game between the powerhouses of the NFC and AFC and it's just hard to predict since it's the game to determine who is the CHAMPION. Janice 01-30-2008, 07:03 PM Because like you said, it's a game between the powerhouses of the NFC and AFC and it's just hard to predict since it's the game to determine who is the CHAMPION. I guess you don't feel qualified enough, like the expert sport's people who are all giving their SB predictions. When you laughed at Plaxico Burress's prediction, I took that as sort of a prediction from you. Guess not. TVFactFan 01-30-2008, 07:07 PM I guess you don't feel qualified enough, like the expert sport's people who are all giving their SB predictions. When you laughed at Plaxico Burress's prediction, I took that as sort of a prediction from you. Guess not. I don't know who is gping to win, should be a great game Janice 01-30-2008, 07:13 PM I don't know who is gping to win, should be a great game Nobody knows who's going to win. This is a prediction thread. People analyze the two teams, players, coaches, records, all that stuff...to make a prediction. You don't feel up to it, that's cool. I'm just surprised. If the Giants don't turn over the ball they have a shot If the Pats can run the ball well the Giants maybe in trouble Janice 01-30-2008, 07:24 PM If the Giants don't turn over the ball they have a shot If the Pats can run the ball well the Giants maybe in trouble There's the Analyzer we all know. Good observation. I'll get a full prediction out of you yet, lol. Ireneparalegal 01-30-2008, 07:33 PM I predict Janice will be one happy lady at the end of that game. ;) Sorry, I didn't cite any scores. Mr. Television 01-30-2008, 08:23 PM Patriots 37 Giants 24 Janice 01-30-2008, 08:58 PM I predict Janice will be one happy lady at the end of that game. ;) Sorry, I didn't cite any scores. I knew I liked you, now I REALLY know. Mikado 01-30-2008, 09:23 PM I only can predict one thing, i wont be watching it  Mr. Television 01-30-2008, 09:26 PM I only can predict one thing, i wont be watching it  Give it a chance...it might surprise you. Janice 01-30-2008, 09:31 PM Give it a chance...it might surprise you. Sonny, I wish it was the Cowboys we were playing. You know my husband wanted that early on. Mr. Television 01-30-2008, 09:35 PM Sonny, I wish it was the Cowboys we were playing. You know my husband wanted that early on. Yea I know...maybe next year. LOL I think the Cowboys just relaxed too much after winning the NFC East. I know it had been awhile but they acted like they had just won the SB. Ireneparalegal 01-30-2008, 09:39 PM Sonny, I wish it was the Cowboys we were playing. You know my husband wanted that early on. Same here. :( BOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, it happens. Mr. Television 01-30-2008, 09:41 PM Same here. :( BOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, it happens. We're used to it by now...right Irene? 12 years and counting between playoff wins. :( dlemond 01-30-2008, 09:46 PM Patriots 31 Giants 23 The game ending with the Giants needing a TD and 2 pt conversion to tie. Their last drive falls just short, turning it over on downs. Brady takes a knee. Janice 01-30-2008, 10:09 PM Same here. :( BOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, it happens. I'm sorry, Irene. I forgot you're a Cowboy's fan too. Next year is the big year for the Cowboys. My husband said it, so it must be true. :) TJL 01-30-2008, 10:19 PM I'm not very good at predicting scores, but I am going to go with the Giants. Hopefully it will be a close and exciting game. Ireneparalegal 01-30-2008, 10:50 PM We're used to it by now...right Irene? 12 years and counting between playoff wins. :( I think that is why we can take it with a grain of salt...I just throw my hands in the air and say, "Oh well." I mean, what could we do? Damn 12 years is a looooong time. vtunie 01-30-2008, 11:35 PM Patriots. Too long since the Dolphins went 17-0 -- time for a sequel. Too bad, I was hoping Green Bay would take it all. I guess I like teams with green-and-gold uniforms! Chelsea 01-31-2008, 03:00 PM Aww, what the heck. Giants 38, Patriots 35 in 1 OT. Scoobiedoo30 02-01-2008, 03:25 PM Giants 35 New England 7 TJ 02-02-2008, 01:00 AM I think it will be a shootout like they had in the regular season finale. I'm not really a big fan of either team. I'd just like to see a close game that comes down to the wire. If the Giants can run the ball and control the clock and pressure Brady, they can win. They also need Eli to make few mistakes or they have no chance. Giants 31 Patriots 28 Patriots get beat on a last second field goal this time instead of winning one. I wouldn't be disappointed though if the Patriots won to cap a perfect season. EricIdlefan 02-02-2008, 07:22 AM Patriots really want this win as You could imagine because it is In their heart but Giants could give Them a run if Eli Manning can hold his own Not make that many mistakes. For the Giants but Patriots will win as they Find ways to win. Patriots 35 Giants 31 mriggles 02-02-2008, 03:28 PM This will be the culmanation of a month of torture for me watching the giants move on in the playoffs. I just have a feeling that all the cards are stacked right for the giants giants 24 pats 23 If they win, i will begin a 2 month hibernation where no one will be able to locate me GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brian Damage 02-02-2008, 03:59 PM Patriots 44 Giants 10 GOOOOOOO BIG BLUE mriggles 02-02-2008, 04:37 PM Patriots 44 Giants 10 GOOOOOOO BIG BLUE GOD I HOPE YOUR RIGHT!!!!!! Brian Damage 02-02-2008, 04:42 PM GOD I HOPE YOUR RIGHT!!!!!! I know you do. mriggles 02-02-2008, 04:48 PM I know you do. GO BRADY!!!!!!! Pavan 02-02-2008, 04:52 PM Giants 27 Patriots 21 mriggles 02-02-2008, 04:53 PM Giants 27 Patriots 21 lets hope that prediction is as good as your prediction for the football pick em pool this year ;) Pavan 02-02-2008, 05:53 PM mriggles, what place did you come in? I still got a trophy once again. *ClassicPinUp* 02-02-2008, 05:56 PM I don't know about numbers but I'm rooting for the Patriots and hoping they kick @ss! mriggles 02-02-2008, 06:17 PM mriggles, what place did you come in? I still got a trophy once again. Gee How did i know that would be your response. All i know is that I wasn't running my mouth at the beginning of the season   GARFIELDKOOL 02-02-2008, 06:32 PM Pats 38 Giants 20 The Giants could win, but Brady and Moss will put this one out of reach in the fourth quarter. They are going for the undefeated record, and I don't see anyone stopping them. Pavan 02-02-2008, 06:37 PM Gee How did i know that would be your response. All i know is that I wasn't running my mouth at the beginning of the season   I wasn't talking smack to you at all when I made that statement. I didn't even know you were in the league, lol. It was directed to one rookie in particular. But after you said that, I made sure I would get ahead of you...and guess what? I did :) mriggles 02-02-2008, 06:44 PM I wasn't talking smack to you at all when I made that statement. I didn't even know you were in the league, lol. It was directed to one rookie in particular. But after you said that, I made sure I would get ahead of you...and guess what? I did :) well congrats on that LOL I am glad you accomplished one of your goals anyway. I don't take it as seriously as you do apparently  I was just having fun, but now i know how serious it is taken & i will be ready to roll in september :) freshprinceofLA 02-03-2008, 01:51 AM Patriots 30 Giants 27 Burress will have to play a big role but he's not going at 100%. Man did he make a mistake with that prediction he just "added fuel to the patriots fire". I will be rooting for the G-MEN though. Scoobiedoo30 02-03-2008, 04:13 PM does anyone think that The Superbowl can go into overtime |
