i phoned up my university wanting to find out the date of my exam for journalism and guess what? i was told it took place last week, friday. i was gutted. i know that i have already emailed the lecturer and the programme leader of my course about the problem, but i am worried as to whether i would have to retake the module, next year. i already submitted the first piece of coursework though. what should i do? thanks a bunch

eep! All I can think to say is just wait to see what the professor suggests. You could look into talking to someone higher up ( a dean or something ) about not having to retake the whole class. I mean, if no one told you the test was last Friday, it's not your fault you didn't take it.

thanks for the advice. actually i emailed the head of my subject area just yesterday and he told me i'd have to take the test in august but that i'd have to sign a mitigation circumstances form and hand it in to my faculty office
