If you watched closely, when they rode up to the diner on the bikes, it was obvious Ron Palillo wasn't on his (apparently he can't ride a motorcycle). Jay Leno does ride them and was on his when they pulled up.
Also, interestingly, TV Land showed that Good Times episode this morning where J.J. had VD and went to the free clinic, Jay Leno was one of the people in the waiting room.

I only watched Alice briefly while it was on CBS as a child so I don't really remember and the show was never in local syndication so this is my first time seeing the show
