In general, the casting was perfectly excellent as regards chemistry. At the very beginning (seasons 1-2), Ritter, DeWitt, and Somers were magic together, as were equally Audra Lindley and Norman Fell. It's tempting to say Ritter and DeWitt: they carried the show in seasons 5-8, and maybe even 3 and 4 to some extent, plus there's the whole Jack-and-Janet story. But they were a bit inconsistent. Maybe the strongest connection was between Joyce DeWitt and Don Knotts. Watch, if you can, the last episode, in two scenes: Furley's closeup while Janet is exchanging vows, and then, at the very bitter end, when Janet and Furley say goodbye.

The chemistry I liked best is a tie between John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt and also between Joyce DeWitt and Suzanne Somers. I liked John and Joyce's chemistry because the way they bounced jokes off each other and the situations that they get into. I also liked Joyce and Suzannes's chemistry because Suzanne played the funny one and Joyce played the straight person. I liked their chemistry together also. :)

I Like John Ritter And Joyce Dewitt Chemistry The Best,You Can Tell By Watching Them On Screen That They Liked Each other Off Screen.
They Knew How To React to Each other And Could Play Off Each other Lines Perfect,And Also In My Opinion They Held The Show Together In The Entire 8 Yea Run,While Norman,Audra And Suzanne Departure Never Hurt The Show we All know John Departure Would Hurt The Show Badly,Now imagine If Joyce Had The Contract Dispute And Not Suzanne And Joyce Was Fired,That Would Hurt The Show Ratings In My Opinion Because Half Of The Show Chemistry come From John And Joyce and If One Of Them Left The Show Chemistry Would Have Been Thrown Off And the Show Would Have Canceled shortly.

I Liked John Ritter And Suzanne Somers Chemistry The Second Best, Before The Contract Dispute They Had Great Chemistry But In my Opinion It Was Not As Strong As The Chemistry Between John Ritter And Jyce Dewitt I Also Liked How They played There Lines Off Each other.

For me it's a tie between John Ritter & Joyce DeWitt and Norman Fell & Audra Lindley. I think they were both perfect together.
