I'm happy. Or perhaps satisfied. It's not what I want to do, but It'll do for now.

I hate my job.

I'm in my 7th year of bagging/cleaning at Kroger. My boss is such a smart-ass that I can't stand the guy. No matter what I'm doing, it's always wrong. You'd think if the employee was working, the boss would be happy. But instead he tells me to do other things. Yet the thing I was doing, he wants done as well, just when HE tells me to do it. And then he gets mad at me for having to be told what to do. It's totally confusing and I hate confrontation, so I always go home feeling bad.

When I first started my job (this is my first job), I liked it. I had a different boss back then, but also the rest of my co-workers were nicer and I got along with them more than I do the current ones. There are still some people who were there when I started, but mostly it's all new people. I'm tired of having to say goodbye to all the people I really like.

I'd like out, but I don't know where else to go.

I had to vote "Unsure" I've just started and am finishing the last week of my 8 week training on Friday. My first day on the "phones" is on Monday. So, I'll know more then....

Eh, I don't know. In some ways I think it's great: I get summers off and a week and a half off at Christmas...I get paid to color and play games...if it snows a lot, I may not even have to go to work...I'm rather popular with the kids...I get to move around a lot and do something different every hour (it's good for my anxiety)...

Yet on the other hand: I feel like I'm always in trouble and I've gone home several times either angry or depressed/crying...half of the adults don't like me...I can't do anything right...I'm not good at yelling at kids like I'm apparently supposed to be (?)...I have bossy co-workers who either try to tell me what to do or they get mad at me for stupid reasons...

The job itself is ok; it sucks having recess duty in the winter (and altogether) and I get no benefits, but the kids like me and I feel good when they learn something. It's the people I work with who send me to therapy.

I'm really happy. I have a really awesome store manager who changes my schedule if i need it, calls me in all the time and I get to work over time. That plus I work with my boyfriend and one of my close friends, the second whom I hooked up with a job. What more could I ask for? :)

That is the same job I first held; Kroger/ bagging groceries...the only thing I enjoyed was that on some holidays some customers would leave nice tips and making $4.25/ h that made my day. Other than that, the front end manager was a &^*( along with most of the crew. Apparently it is a Kroger trait.

Back to the topic, I was really happy with the last job I had as a stocker until I hurt my back unloading trucks and downstacking. Still miss it.

I worked at a well-known restaurant a few months ago, for about 5 months as a hostess. First of all, i wasn't making the money i deserved, but i decided to stick with it because i wanted some work experience. Well, they had one hostess who had been working there for 2 years, who was their "favorite", and they would let her do anything she wanted and work when she wanted. The newer hostesses (even though we had been there over a month) were asked to do stupid things, such as hold the door open for every single customer, and roll the silverware in an overheated room in the back of the restaurant. Basically, they chose favorites and didn't give a crap about the ones they hadn't bonded with. They even paid her MORE than the rest of us. I quit for that reason and because i wanted to focus on my school.

I'm unemployed and I'm going through this service which will help me, but I have to wait very long for them since the person I see had surgery and my mom decided to wait until a couple of days.

I hate all this waiting and all I do is wait. I can't take it anymore, I might as well see a Fortune-Teller and ask her why I can't find a job!

I'm happy with my job and also no comment. I enjoy being a library aide at the library shelving books and shelf reading books on the shelf putting them in the right order.
