Anybody see the final episode of Pioneers of Television on PBS? The episode focused on game shows and featured interviews with Merv Griffin, Chuck Woolery, Wink Martindale, Tom Kennedy, Jack Narz, Peter marshall and Betty White. There were also a lot of rarely seen clips from shows such as You Don't Say and Truth or Consequences with Bob Barker. Near the end of the show was a tribute to Bill Cullen.

Yes, I watched it. I haven't been a game show fan in recent years but I
have memories of watching game shows back in the fifties and early sixties,
with my mother. We especially enjoyed Bob Barker on Truth or Consequences and Bill Cullen on The Price Is Right. I also remember
Jack Barry on Twenty-One and Tic-Tac-Dough. Like everyone
else, we were shocked when we found out that some of those quiz shows
were rigged.

That 4-week series on PBS was rather lame. They had a LOT
of erroneous information included in those shows, especially
the game show episode. However, here in 2008 with very few
retrospective shows of that ilk, I guess one shouldn't be too
picky. I WOULD like the get the episode of YOU DON'T SAY with
DOROTHY DANDRIDGE they showed (a clip).
