What were the last fantasy/scifi sitcoms to air on primetime television?

I guess I'm talking about sitcoms alone the same lines as Sabrina or You Wish with a strange character with powers or something like that.

There's those Disney sitcoms, if those count, like That's so Raven, or that new show about those wizards, can't think of the name right now.

But neither of those is a "sitcom." They're both dramatic shows.

ohhh, you're right. I was wondering why everyone was forgetting about Smallville, Supernatural, Charmed, Angel, etc... that were on the air after Sabrina's final episode, but I forgot that "sitcom" was the key word.

Thanks. I wouldn't watch it, but that still counts as supernatural doesn't it?

I think we can pretty much all say the last decent supernatural sitcom was Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I wonder why we don't see too many of those anymore.

In reality, there have been very few good fatasy/scifis and only a couple of great ones. The best - My Favorite Martian, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie were many decades ago. There have bee a few ok ones. Raven was not as good as Futurama, which is not as good as Sabrina, but Sabrina was no where as good as 3rd Rock from the Sun - which I think was the last really good sitcom. Most have been campy - Come Back Mrs Noah, Red Dwarf, My Hero.

You're welcome! I really don't watch that either.

Too much reality drek. I watch TV to escape reality, not continue in it. And what a better way to escape than a show about Martians and Witches and Genies and whatever?

That's a good way to put it. But, sitcoms altogether today are not as good as they were 10 years ago.
