Anyone remember the Famous Press Conference in 1985, you might have seen the transcript and photo in the Honeymooners Companion Book, where Jackie Gleason, Audrey Meadows & Joyce Randolph attented the 21 Club in New York City to announce (Showtime Cable) would be showing the newly released "Lost Episodes." I was living in New Jersey at the time, so I watched the New York news. When the press conferenece took place the New York Media was there, with CBS-News NY showing footage with interviews of both Jackie & Audrey. This to me has always been VERY RARE!!! Because of the fact, if you didn't live in New York or New Jersey, or wasn't recording the News that day to save...... It was LOST Forever! I was lucky enough back in 1985 to have done both, but lost the video tape for years.............Untill recently, I finally found the video tape containing it, and was very happy to find, was in great picture/audio condition, I guess because I haven't played the tape in like 20 Years!!!!!! I was wondering if anyone reading this has ever seen this footage or took any personal video footage they might have filmed of the Press Conference or any of the Honeymooner Conventions that was produced by the (RALPH) fan club? I remember asking members a few years back if they had this footage, since I couldn't find mine, and nobody did! I'm surprised with all the video & dvd releases over the years, no clips of this press conference or any of the Honeymooner conventions have ever been shown as a bonus.
