I know this is real trivial stuff but has anyone else seen the new commercial for Comfort Suite hotels?

The actor in the ad looks alot like the person who portrayed Adam's mysterious, homeless friend. Tell me what you think.

Yes CB that is him! That same actor I dont know his name but besides playing Adam Hecht's friend in the UM segment and that hotel commercial he also had a role as Commander Sturgis Turner for a couple of years earlier this decade on the TV show JAG.

I think that's one of the few UM-actors I've ever seen in another role. I also noticed he was in a "Without a Trace" episode some time ago :)

Yep I crack up everytime I see "Tony" in that ad. :lol:

The best part I ever saw "Tony" in was in an episode of "LA LAW" around the same time he did UM. He played a young jewelry store thief who ended up shooting a security guard who was trying to detain him. James Earl Jones played his lawyer and ended up getting him off because the jury felt there was racial profiling involved.

Maybe the prosecution should've asked him what he did to Adam Hecht, it might have made their case against him in the jewelry store offense more solid sorta like Michael Scott Martin was convicted of that gas station thing once they found out he took a polish sausage from a food store?

I always laugh in the Adam Hecht segment when Tony says, "Ok... kewl..." I don't know why that cracks me up, but it does.

Speaking of the real case, I'm assuming there's still no sign of Adam, huh? That one always bothered me because you'd think some sign of him or his body would have turned up by now. Harold ran into Tony later and he gave that clue but no actual info. I'm surprised they never could get more out of Tony then they did.

I always thought this was bizarre too. I wonder if the real Tony is still out there somewhere. I think he must have had something to do with Adam's disappearance.

I've always wondered if Tony is either living or deceased. I found it strange that he simply turned around and walked away after being asked about Adam. That definitely fueled my suspicion of him.

I think the segment mentioned the cops interrogated Tony but he disavowed any knowledge of Adam's disappearance. Like I said earlier, I feel that Tony was involved in some way. I have a feeling he knows what happened to Adam. I don't understand why he wasn't investigated further.

I can remember seeing "Tony" man a number of years back in a very special made-for-the-FOX Network nighttime drama in which he played an alcoholic philandering husband. I don't think he had adopted any rich white 20-year-olds though.

The only other thing I remember of the show was a Thanksgiving scene with the extended family around the table...I kept waiting for Tony to start waving his hands around the stuffing and mashed potatoes in order to bless the food.

Which further confuses me. He outright disclaimed any responsibility to the authorities but gave Adam's brother the silent-treatment? I find that extremely weird and the details surrounding his behavior, displayed after Adam's disappearance, give me a funny feeling to this day.

I don't remember what the exact statement was that he made to Adam's brother, but I thought it was something to the effect that if the brother spent some time on the streets with him, Tony might be able to provide some clues as to Adam's whereabouts.

Now that you've mentioned it, I do remember Tony having said something like that. Hmmm.... what a strange statement having come from someone who had no knowledge whatsoever regarding Adam's disappearance. Who knows what his actual intention or purpose was in telling Harrold that. I say Tony is/was a strange character and I truly believe that he isn't/wasn't "all there" to begin with. Maybe Adam saw some kind of sign because he (Tony) just so happened to have been standing outside, and he took it upon himself to take him in figuring he was harmless.

I can see Adam being naive and trying to live like a street person to help or understand them, but then being taken advantage of, beaten, or killed because he is a "rich, spoiled guy." I'm sure his intentions were good, but you can understand where that might rub some "real" homeless people the wrong way.

I doubt he is alive, so that makes me wonder what ever became of his remains. :confused:
