Rochon Fuqua quits ``Division''
HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Lela Rochon Fuqua has opted to leave Lifetime's female cop drama ``The Division,'' which will return for a second season in January.

A Lifetime spokeswoman confirmed the departure of Rochon Fuqua, who co-starred in 1995's ``Waiting to Exhale.''

Rochon Fuqua's ``Division'' co-stars Bonnie Bedelia, Nancy McKeon, Lisa Vidal and Tracey Needham are expected to return for season two.

I'm not sure if that article is authentic or not.

If it is, NOOOOOOO!!! Angela is one of my faves, she can't leave!

But I can't believe it cuz there's really no evidence to support it. Like if there were other articles out there on the net claiming the same thing, more "official" articles, I would probably believe it.

This article came from a yahoo email that I set up to receive info on The Division. Hope that this helps. You can probably go to Yahoo and type in Lela's name and read the article yourself. I just though that I would post it here so that you would know about it.

I think the article is authentic. When Lela first started the DIVISION she made the statement if the show was picked up for a second season she may not stay on. She is expecting a child and said from the beginning she prefers movies over TV.
Bonnie also said she prefers movies, so let's hope we don't loose her too...

This will make an interesting storyline for C.D....

I must've read that same article ks....Lela made it clear from the beginning that she preferred movies and would not be staying on for the whole duration of her contract.

Looks like CD may be losing another partner...just when the Angela/CD partnershihp was starting to get good.

Despite Lela's prior statements, I blame the writers for this. Maybe if they had given Angela a little more meat right off the bat, rather than these rookie/supporting character to C.D. stories, she may have decided that she enjoyed this show. She played second fiddle so long that it probably turned her off to the whole medium.

I wish I could say I would miss her alot, but since we are just getting to know anything about her, I can't say that I will.
