I'm cleaning this house from top to bottom, picking out some tile samples, having my front doors sanded and painted, finishing up some work, and sending out some congratulations cards to those who've had babies (having a major baby boom around here lol).

For once, NOTHING! I don't have to work this weekend. My guy friend is gonna be coming over in a little bit - it'll be the first time I've seen him in about 1 1/2 weeks. I don't know what the hell I'm doing with the rest of my weekend... I know I need to pick up punch cards for the bus here at some point before Sunday night, maybe see my mom and hit up the used bookstore near where she lives... I miss that store.

Tomorrow is church, of course. Then on Sunday, the church is having a dinner and a family fun night which I'm planning on attending. Other than that, I'm just going to relax.

Going to pick up my son's atv in Hopkinsville in just a little while. And we'll probably stop & get something to eat while we're out. No plans for Saturday, but Sunday I'm going to visit my mom for a few hours.

I came in town yesterday and will be leaving tomorrow. :( See, my laptop broke and the only way I have access is when I come to Kentucky. I'm now currently living in TN. Long story.

Hey Brandon, have you started Redeeming Love yet? Mike (aka Crazy For Blair) just finished it and loved it. So I can't wait to hear what another guy thinks of the book!! :D

There's nothing wrong with that, Mikey. To each his own!

Well, I headed on down to the used bookstore today and walked off with three Stephen King books, and a memoir about being in the Grateful Dead -- the cover to that book is really cool!

I got two of Stephen King's Dark Tower books - #4 and #5. I *thought* I had gotten #5 and #6, because I kept reading "IV" as "VI." I already have his fourth Dark Tower book here to start with - so now I gotta take my other DT book back to the store.

Altogether, my books were $10.60 ($10 on the nose before taxes). :D

Oh, and Mikey, I'm like that too. I'm HUGE on autobiographies/biographies/memoirs. It's kind of ridiculous how many of these non-fiction books I have. The books in that pic are just a LITTLE BIT of what I actually have.

I love it too. :D I've had that copy ever since it first came out, back in 2002. I remember drooling over it like crazy in the bookstore. I couldn't stop thinking about it until I got myself a copy. And now they don't sell the hardcover copies anymore.

If you look closely at the book to the right of it, it's a book on John Belushi that his wife wrote. I haven't read it yet, but it's ****ing awesome that there's a memoir about him. And there's a book on Gilda Radner in that pic, too- 2nd book on the right (one of the smaller books).

Yeah, it's not obvious that I love old-school SNL or anything. ;)

 Oh man, I've had that book forever.

Nah, I didn't finish it in a day, but pretty close. One and a half is more accurate. I've been a Vicki fan FOREVER, it's kind of ridiculous. Hee. :D
