in tonights episode about Alice turning 40 i was like 40?? no way..she looked much older to me ...anyway as it turned out Linda Lavin was 44 during that episode but what i found pretty funny is Doris Robert who player her mother was only 7 years older than Alice in real life :D

What I always thuoght was funny was how they made Flo sound like she was alot older, when in reality, Linda Lavin and Polly Holliday are only a couple months apart in age.

I thought Doris was kinda too young to be Alice's mom! LOL

Alice did look older in that episode especially with that haircut. I did not like that style on Linda.

In regards of that episode that was tearjerker in the scene with Alice and her mom as they ironed things out. When Alice spoke of her fear she had after losing her husband I started tearing up.

Great episode.
